Would Sunderland have voted Leave if the people there thought that removal of frictionless trade would likely mean Nissan would cease to invest, or even stop production, there?
7 minutes ago, Phulublub said:I have not seen or heard any Brexit leader be as honest.
PH
Nissan has stated they have no intention of closing their Sunderland factory , that was just a rumour from a German magazine .
Those dishonest Brexiters, Eh ?

I don’t ever recall saying this before.
You’ll get your answer the next time UK membership of the EU comes up as a vote.
Was you ever in agreement with the people who were saying it ?
The next General election in four years time ?
In 2024 , Labour will sweep to victory on the promise of rejoining the E.U ?
Will 2024 be long enough for all the old Brexiteers to die off ?

I didn’t say you shouldn’t be allowed to vote, and I’ve told you the point again and again, what I said was (about 8 times now for the hard of thinking) that you shafted the young by voting leave! ie it was a vote with no regard whatsoever for the prosperity of future generations or the U.K. It was a spiteful, selfish, xenophobic vote agitated by publications such as The Sun to appeal to let’s say not too savvy elderly folks. (No offence like)
The graphs would merely have helped that sink in.
IYO Brexit will be disaster for the UK and Brexiteers deliberately voted for that disaster .
Brexit voters think Brexit will be beneficial to the UK in the future and the Country and its future generations will benefit .
Not suggesting you, but some peoples only concern is the Pound/Baht exchange rate

Youve been saying this for years now .
In which year will it be that Brexiteers all die out and Remianers will be in the majority ?
That was the prediction before the last General election and a regular suggestion since 2016
In which year will it become apparent ?

Was told by a senior official from the Kent County Council’s Highways Department -a body you think johnson would consult before starting this particular press conference.
So it would seem johnson called a press conference and didn’t check the latest figures on a key aspect of that conference.
Inept and incompetent if that is true.
If being the operative word...
Right , at 5 PM , there were 3-500 lorries on the road , by the end of the day , there were 1000 lorries on the road End of the day could mean anytime between 8-12 PM , lets call it 10 PM .
There was a lorry arriving every 30 seconds/1 minute apart at Dover .
Boris figure of 170 may have been two hours out of date .
Some things are important , 170 lorries or 500 lorries .
Not important at all
Boris has a hotline to Macron in Paris .
He doesnt have a hotline to traffic control in Dover

“Exactly one hour before the briefing, Channel 4 News’s Global Trade Correspondent Paul McNamara was told by a senior official from Kent County Council’s Highways department that there were “nearer 500” lorries involved in Operation Stack – the procedure where lorries are parked along the M20 at times of severe congestion at Dover.
Other reporters, including ITV News’s Business and Economics Editor Joel Hills, tweeted that Kent Highways officials had also given him a figure of 500 and that local sources were “baffled” at the much lower number the prime minister gave.”
Yes, Paul McNamara was told that , we arent talking about him though .
Boris was in Westminister occupied with more important things , other than exactly how many lorries are parked on a road in Dover

According to those at the scene at least 330 more than the 170 Johnson claimed.
Johnsons claim was that the many of the 500 Lorries were removed from the road and moved to the airport runway to park .
Which was true .
In the meantime , many other lorries had arrived to park on the road , and they were also moved to the airport runway .
It was an on-going situation and on going situations change by the minute
There were nearly 1000 lorries there by the end of the day .
The info that he gave may have been a few hours out of date

don't mix apples and oranges... don't divert/distract/sidetrack because you couldn't come with anything credible, facts are facts France and England (UK) are separated by The Channel which the width is in some areas less then the 200 miles required for the fishing so called "international waters", go ahead solve the problem and forward your answer to Boris & Macron, because for the past 4 years none could come up with any constructive proposal, UK fish goes swimming to France and vice versa, how will you separate them, which one is a French fish and which one is a UK fish
Is an explanation required ?

Price paid by UK was in another article, will post when I find it.
That article just lists the different prices of the various different vaccines .
It doesnt back up you claim that the UK is paying double what Belgium are paying .
The UK paid premium price for the first vaccine available and have begun vaccinations .
I believe Belgium have yet to approve the vaccine, so hasnt yet began its vaccination programe yet
You claim that the UK is paying $ 38 for a shot of the Moderna dose and Belgium is paying $ 18 .
As TWO doses are required , Two shots are needed , need to pay for two of them . do you think thats where the the price difference is ?
Two doses and twice the price ?

How many lorries were on the road at the time when Boris was informed of their being lorrys on the road ?

As you have been in the Gulf for a prolonged period of time , you probably havent seen much female flesh recently .
You are probably sitting by your window salivating at all those naked legs walking by , noticing their shorts go right up to the top of their legs and sometime you can see a bum cheek .
If you requite a telescope or a pair of binoculars , you can order one from Lazada and then can deliver it by Christmas

If you have an online account in uk and a bank account here should be no problem. I use transferwise and it hits my Kasikorn account in 4 secs from Uk-Transferwise-Kasikorn.
I have not had a UK bank card for 7 years!!????????????????
He would need his ATM card and a card reader to be able to log into his UK online banking page

Using your own figures, what percentage voted for the huge upheaval that leaving is going to bring?
(surely he cannot have read it but refuses to answer because that would show that a majority of the UK electorate did not vote for Brexit?)
PH
37 % voted to leave
34 % voted to stay
28 % didnt vote
I dont fell sorry for Sheffield United , they are stuck on 2 points after four months , we have been stuck on this 1 point for four years now

I would have thought the point was blindingly obvious surely ?
The older generation shafted the young.
Clear enough ?
The younger generation would be more concerned about going to *I Beetha* on the Balearics in Spain for the summer and getting a job there collocating glasses in a bar , visa free

Depends on the global conditions of the deal.
So it is hypothetical possible that an agreement include :
The E.U. is allowed to fish in U.K. waters:
The U.K. is allowed to pick up for free strawberries in Spain.
That would be fair enough .
As long as we can pick 10 strawberries for every crab you catch
50 Strawberries for every Tuna you catch and a 100 Strawberries for every Cod you catch ?

If you bought the rights then take what belongs to you.
Do they have the rights ?
Could you investigate and find out the current situation ?
There seems to some uncertainty about the current situation .
If the French fisherman have the legal right to catch fish in UK waters , I dont see how the UK could stop them.
Are those quotas still valid ?

Jesus wept bloody fish !! (0.1% gdp) - but fear not Bojo has been quietly caving in overnight and a deal expected today.
Just compare what bojos fish red lines were and what he settled for ???? painful reading for a leaver.
Its about the issue rather than about the actual fish or the GDP value .
The issue is the disagreement between the UK and the E.U .
The issue may cause the whole trade deal to collapse and the UK /EU having no deals at all .
The stalled negotiations are the issue , rather then the fish themselves .
Its unfair that E.U expect to fish in non E.U Countries .
Its an issue about fairness , rather than the actual fish .
How about the UK demanding that we be allowed to go to Spain and take all their strawberrys for free ?
Would that be fair ?

Hell no - if you had read my post I said I was still in the first half so if I had been conceived then I would live to be 108
Brexiteers maths continues to shine!
The worlds oldest person is usually older than 108 (going up to 122 years old) , so its quite possible you could have been born in 1966 and still be halfway through your life

No other country has ever left the E.U., the E.U. is now showing that they will decide at what conditions, a country leaving the Union, will again be able to do business with them.
Leaving to the country which left, the full faculty to accept these conditions, or not.
Wonder which court will be prepared to ordeal about the good faith, or not, from a country.
Its fair that the UK should be treated like any other Country wishing to trade with the E.U.
We shouldnt be punished for deciding to leave .
As the UK is no longer a member of the E.U , E.U members cannot expect to come and steal our fish
