4am closing for nightlife will start New Year
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It is true, not much will be earned on weekdays, but as Thai culture they don't care... Walked many times around and than a woman is screaming in the microphone and nobody is listening or even in the neighbourhood of the stand, but she pretends there a few hundreds watching and listening..So will be the same in the entertainment industry.. even if there are no guests the singers will sing and perform although nobody is there, but the shop must be open as it is allowed... -

Madness and brainless... death toll will rise, people will get more stressed by less good sleep, workers are getting overworked and don't get a social life anymore...and many more reasons.. Maybe they should let the people who decide this work after midnight. at least than they are doing something.. and the police?? they will be nowhere to be seen as they only work from 8 to 17.00 ...- 85 replies

I never understand brake failure... It seem the first time they stop the truck and all the times they had to to stop for roads, traffic lights, restaurants to eat, never a problem, only in an accident there is a brake failure.. Besides that if a car is 5 years old he needs a paper that things are checked on the vehicle... I was last week and a car with a lot of black smoke was approved... so maybe they should start to do a real good check up ...

not worth to comment on Americans.. They are people who think they own the world, but have a lot of problems inside their country that they can't solve such as racism, shooting because the law of gun posession, orthodox religions, and so on, but they like to comment on other countries or push to adapt their standards...

Gay marriage is boosting economies all over the world in the countries that have accepted it.. Thailand however could have accepted a long time already but deays it year after year.. A bid for the World pride in 2028 is too early I think as the country has to show that the LGBTQ+ movement is fully accepted with equal rights for several years... So start with the Gay Marriage asap

Thai Cabinet Approves Extended Bar Hours, to Be Announced Tomorrow
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The land of the unknowing.... Lonher openinghours means more alcohol consumption and drugs results will be more accidents, people more stressed by the noise of karaoke bars and other music pollution, and the people who work n the bars a far worse health, because they don't have a living anymore, as they have to sleep during daytime...And the worst part is the selling of alcohol during daytime to prevent accidents and at night when they are tired and drugged you can drink as much as you want... and for the tourists?? People who are in the bar the whole night are not the quality tourists they wnatto have and as long as there still underaged people found in the entertainment venues , it is more time to control and that than extend the openingshours -
