Yeah, just look at the particulars of this country:
Wow, wouldn't it be terrible if Thailand degenerated to this level of human rights abuse.
What? This is Singapore? Nevermind.

With a military junta and a refusal to enter the 21st century, accept opposition, the political situation will become more and more unstable and look what happens all ove rthe world in Venezuela, Nigeria, Kenia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and when the people are sick of it they will come on the streets, which is bad for (future) investors, tourists, and the economy of Thailand. And than they can blame the foreigners.....but it is their own to blame.
Thailand thinks they don't need the Western countries, but the opposite is true, as we have seen in Covid period. Sad for a country that names itself a democracy

Sure true... All countries should make a statement.. The CC has called to respect the decision, but they can't control the freedom of speech of other nations.. And there should be consequences too for Thailand as boycotting importing goods or so to show it is not accepted by world to pretend a democracy and be a dictatorship without freedom of speech, writing and elections, as all problems occured since the MFP was the winner of the elections

Respect you have to earn and the votes of 14 million Thais being thrown away only because an outdated law is not the democracy Thailand pretends to be.. Maybe an opportunity for the EU and US to bring some sanctions in as they often do with countries like North Korea, Russia and other non democratic regimes. The decision is not democratic and of course people wilol talk about it but nobody shall invade Thailand. Best thing is to avoid the country as much as possible

In the conservative government nothing will be changed ever... even the same sex marriage bill is not signed yet, but when it is a freshuffle for friends the next it is published already... Of course MFP had to go down as they really wanted to make changes and upgrade the country

Soi 6 is not where families should be going, but we can't beat up a city because it has areas where tourists should not go.
We can make the same case for popular tourist destinations the world over... For example, NYC is a popular family destination, but there are areas no tourists should visit. Paris has a red-light district, where families should not go. Istanbul is one of the most visited cities in the world but has dangerous neighbourhoods.
You are right, only the problem is that whole Pattaya is known for their sex tourism, while the cites mentioned have only some areas... and never got the name as sex capital of the world

Remarkable that MFP got in trouble after they won the election. It is a proof that Thailand is a totalarian regime and a autocracy is... Sadly for the people, who are now even more in trouble and they are being silenced with the 10k scheme. But the economy and tourism will be going down, as the political situation is getting more and more instabile.

It is clear again that this country is an autocracy and totalitarian system as the verdict today shows. It is remarkable that all problems of MFP started After they won the elections....A prove that the current leaders will never accept a people chosen Government...

First of all the judicial system in Thailand is not independent and secondly there are no other countries of parties which try to interfere. However other countries and parties have the freedom to express their opinions otherwise than in Thailand where it is forbidden to speak out. Thailand pretends to be a democratic country, but it is a totalitarian regime, that only allows things approved by the Government and army. That is why others ask questions about democracy preached by Thailand, as Thailand said before that in Tailand they have their own democratic system.. Dissolving MFP is just another example as nothing happened yet. No laws or amendment were made and send for discussion or approval in the parliament. Only the talking of it by the winner of the elections is a threat for the current elite, army and Government and therefor they have to be silenced. The result is however that the people want to have changes and in the next elections the people will surely show that

I am wondering who the netizens are as the party won the elections by voting by the netizens... Or are the netizens the army and elite and fear for their power and positions... In fact there is also a Public Democratic Republic somewhere nearby too and Thailand is copying that more and more

They do not box bronze final in Olympics, so she is guaranteed bronze if she loose. Both loosing semifinalists get bronze
However, in 1950 the International Boxing Association (IBA) decided to discontinue the bronze medal match as the short time interval between the semi-finals and the third-place match allowed limited time for competitors to recover

She only can go for gold if she wins, and than in the final she has to win too, so 2 times winning is gold, but if she lose tonight she still have to fight for bronze and if she wins she is sure of silver but have to gold too. It is not so easy as they think and write...

Section 112 amendment was never a tool for MFP to bring down the monarchy, but only to make things clear so that it could not be abused for protestors and people against Government. But because the army feels a threat they have brought false information into the country that MFP was the culprit. Dissolution is totally unacceptable as there is and was nothing done yet. Laws were not made or even brought into the parliament. So nothing happened. It is just a power play of the army to show who really is charge in the country.

The medals Thailand should do much more for the youth of Thailand, however Thai TV is not broadcasting much or only at night.... In many countries youth will participate in sports especially when there are championships and the athletes are doing their best to win.. But where can you find any sportclub in Thailand, such as for athletics, gymnastics, basketball, cycling, rowing, volleyball, badminton or whatever where kids can play and learn and improve to become the future sportsmen... Nothing at all unfortunately

I surely believe that many people will get a tax form next year. We all know that many Thais don't pay taxes and with this digital wallet system the Government knows how much money they earn and what they have in the bankaccounts..So it is easy to tax them now.

Maybe it should be easier to get a workpermit.... Now it is an endless paperwork for employer and employee..... So that is why many stop with the procedure and work illegal.... Why not introduce a workvisa?? just apply for it and you can work in almost every job...Much easier, but in Thailand all jobs are protected even prostitution although it doesn't exists....Foreigners are being limited or jailed almost in every job for not having a workpermit. Even volunteer work is impossible...Volunteer is without payment...and if people complain you can't even mown you own lawn........ Easy for people to blame but look at the reasons. I know for foreign teachers it can take up to 3 months before getting a workpermit and that is far too long
