  1. When doesn't the Government stop helping these hotels... If they are too expensive no innovations or lack of good service people will not book them and when they get bankrupted and that is good for the ones who are doing their best and fulfill the wishes of the customers. It is called doing business.. Some times you win sometimes you loose and if you don't do anything your business is doomed.. Easy peasy

  2. THan the problem is that there is no control how the condo's are used..so illegal hotels should be closed, but here in Thailand with the attitude of mai pen rai everything is possible. and than with the corrupt RTP, and officials no wonder it is a mess... But change the rules because it is a mess is a bit strange... enforce it, check it and close down when not according to the laws. Why must always the rich being helped

And lots more businesses will go bust or pull out of Thailand.

Not every employer is a rich, golf playing git with a chauffeur driven Mercedes.

No I know, but when people have money they will buy more and that will benefit everybody... from the shop in the street to big companies, but people see only the costs and not the benefits. Always trying to cancel progression

It's not just the 400 thb per day for workers, but a rise in minimum salary for new graduated university workers from 15,000 thb to 25,000 thb per month!

Indeed and 400 THB is not enough either it should be at least 500/600 THB a day.. or better pay monthly 15k than are all the holidays paid too for these people... Look how many free and substitute days are being cancelled and that will be better for the economy too

How would that work, companies /factories would not like paying more ,as has been said when the minimum wages increase is announced, and how would the government pay the increase ,factory workers on the books ,can be paid ,open to corruption, but a high percentage of the workers that need the money work in agriculture /building trade  ect.no paper work, here today gone tomorrow, no records.

Just would not work. the only way would be, as has been said, use the registered welfare card, that has been going for a few years now and it works

It would work if there is a good registration system instead of the blue book... Everybody should  register on the address they live, and everybody should fill in a tax form with what their job is, where they work and how much they earn.. and than indeed on the welfare card there could be money to pay the rest the company won't pay... But now it is a mess as nobody knows where someone lives, what work and how much they earn. How can you help people?.

Have a look at the Netherlands where this is allowed 23 years:

20 years of gay marriage in the Netherlands: 20 thousand couples | CBS

"Marriages between two women are of a shorter duration than marriages between two men or between a man and a woman. Of the women who married another woman in 2010, 26 percent were divorced after almost ten years (on 1 January 2020). This is almost twice as much as for married male couples (14 percent). The divorce rate among heterosexual couples is comparable to that of gay male couples: 16 percent were divorced after ten years."

CBS = Central Buro of Statistics in the Netherlands, so a reliable source.

yes  but here in Thailand people can't get married yet and besides that in Thailand a lot of marriages are not legal but only for family.......That makes it easier to separate, while in the Netherlands there are also other possibilities to get a legal relationship such as a cohabitation contract, legal partnership etc...
