  1. Is this an area specific new requirement? When I switched from wife to retirement extension the wife was no where to be seen, and rightfully so.
  2. Someone reading this thread needs to know that Thai Newsroom not Thai Rath produced the image.
  3. Is "hiring a hitman through an app." so taken for granted these days the news does not even go into details?
  4. Not sure if this is a quote from TR or you parodying him but the response is the same either way. Wants it back from whom? You are both already living in it. The comment about "lesser nations" is hopefully in jest otherwise it can make one look a bit daft, like TR perhaps.
  5. Out of interest I thought I would register for a postal vote since they uplifted the 15 years absence block from voting before. I got accepted but was told the mail won't be sent from by area to vote until at least 21-June when all the names on the voter ballot are obliged to be in and listed. So whats the point in having international postal voting as the package wont' even arrive in Thailand before the election let alone give one time to return it?
  6. It's good to see this discussion thread here. The alternative FB page about Thai Visa Advice simply blocks anyone even discussing it until its in the Royal Gazette. I have deleted the bookmark for that site and will just use this site for all information going forward.
  7. Must have vision problems, there is no way that should be in their job scope of work.
  8. It makes no difference like the Rwanda plan, just a last gasp election ploy. The Tories will be out of office from 4-Jul.
  9. But the questioner asked what is a curtain hotel and you described something that isn't a hotel at all, despite you having gone in there?
  10. Yet, if you do this with a hotel you risk being locked up.
  11. Those who follow AseanNow on X, just see a pair of testicles on a barbed wire fence as the lead photo to the story.
  12. I agree, I'm surprised the mods allow click bait of this kind. Of course it probably isn't intended as click bait but ignorance, nevertheless click bait it is.
  13. They are conducting an illegal war in Europe if that rings any bells?
  14. Yes, seemed to help me also. I tried VPNs in Singapore, UK, Aus and they are make it easier to watch IPTV whereas before I needed no VPN. Still happening now, but less so, guess the repairs are in progress.
  15. Back on again this weekend by NT in Bangkok. Can only watch live IPTV with a VPN on. Seems like this way on Sat/Sun and other days no need for a VPN.
  16. Someone needs to tweak the new algo bot coding, as every-time the AI news bot chucks this at the end of a story the news is not related at all.
  17. You started the thread and explain you don't understand the overstay rules? Seems pretty clear to me.
  18. No where in the original article does it mention bad foreigners. It was you who used that term.
  19. The guy on the right seems engrossed.
  20. The aircraft was introduced in 2009 so many millions of people have used it. Do you have a flight phobia for asking? Or is this your first ever flight? Should be a dream.
  21. >fast becoming ‘Land of Russian Crime’ Never saw that coming? #rhetorical
  22. I am finding it a bit hard to fathom why these main computer franchises don't have any computers for sale?
  23. That's because one is more abnormal isn't he?
  24. Dude. Microsoft Edge is a part of the Windows operating system. It's the default web browser that comes pre-installed on Windows 10 and 11. While it's possible to remove Edge from Windows using methods like PowerShell or third-party uninstallers, doing so is generally not recommended, as it can cause system instability and may affect other Windows features that rely on Edge's underlying technology. That said, you can choose to use a different browser as your default, and you can also disable Edge from running in the background or showing up in the Start menu if you prefer not to use it. To summarize, Microsoft Edge is an integrated part of Windows, and removing it entirely can have unintended consequences. However, you can choose to use a different browser and minimize Edge's presence on your system if you prefer.
