  1. The spell check is provided by your browser, not the website. My guess is that the website in question is capturing the right click and preventing the menu from showing up, possibly because they want to try and prevent (for whatever reason!) people copy and pasting something
  2. I seem to recall this has indeed changed within the last few years.
  3. Most Webcams are utter toss... Or at least they were last time I was in the market for one. One option, if you don't mind faffing around a bit, is to get a small tripod for your phone and an app that will let you use your phone as a camera. The picture quality will be leagues better than any webcam you can find.
  4. Only if she's older than you, which I'm guessing she isn't...
  5. 6+ weeks waiting time vs having to travel to a passport office. I know which option I'd choose...
  6. If the app is broken, it's broken. If we don't know what triggers the error we don't know what model of phone would be guaranteed to work (other than asking for suggestions from other users...). Also, as it's a moving target any phone that works today may not work if they decide to "strengthen" their security. It's doubly ironic as Krungsri online have the weakest passwords around, or at least did when I set up my password a long time ago; letters and numbers only - no special characters allowed!
  7. I kind of suspect that somebody who can't understand the difference between "compulsory" and "standard practice" would also struggle to put enough information inside the envelope to correctly identify themselves. In fact I know this to be the case in at least some occasions from my time working in a mail room in a large company where, of the few letters that were sent without return addresses on the envelope, a fair percentage the letters would just be "this is Mr M Brown. Please cancel/action x y z..."
  8. A well thought out and reasoned response. ????????
  9. You seriously have no idea? Okay, so a return address provides two purposes: If the letter is undeliverable for any reason, then it has a chance of getting back to you - this is for your convenience! The second reason is that if the recipient knows who to respond to, or who to reach out to if the document inside the envelope doesn't contain enough information (or contains ambiguous information) - this is for your convenience!
  10. In the UK this has been standard practice since I was born. It may not be compulsory there, I don't know because I never tried to send a letter without a return address.... Why would I?
  11. Good for you
  12. It must be more than a couple of years since you sent a letter, as putting a return address has been standard form pretty much everywhere, forever.
  13. Are Kasikorn one of the banks that allow you to transfer in more than 50,000bt from abroad at a time?
  14. The issue is clearly that the app is falsely detecting root access on some models of phone. They seem to be extremely over-zealous about this as before it was detecting root on my device due to USB debugging being enabled. Now they've obviously added in some new flawed checks which are again causing the issues. Anyway it's enough to make me look for a new bank.... A bank is an institution that you're supposed to be able to rely on. And I don't want to be in a position where I don't have access to my money!
  15. Hardly practical. And even so, how would that guarantee the issue wouldn't occur?
  16. That's Adblock browser. Adblock Plus the app, as far as I'm aware, creates a fake VPN in order to block adds in all apps. Addblock browser is just a browser and has no effect on external apps. The browser gets launched by the Krugsri app *after* hitting the false positive on attempted log in. Also, I can log into internet banking just fine using addblock browser. But the UI is terrible, it can't use fingerprint login, and it doesn't support QR scanning amongst other things.
  17. I'd imagine that the amount of foreigners queuing to buy land so that they can leave it vacant for 10 years is rather short.
  18. So this issue has suddenly reoccurred; even with USB debugging turned off it *still* redirects to the 'rooted/jailbroken device' web page. Has anybody else had any issues recently? And are there any recommended fixes.
  19. Where on earth are you people going, and who are you ordering from to get these responses? Unless they plain don't understand you, I can't see how you can all be having these issues. I more than very often make a special request when ordering food and the worst I ever get is a slight look of confusion (especially when ordering fried cashew nuts, without the cashew nuts...)
