Because he dropped out of the 2016 season (he broke his back in Aug 2015) he had to do qualifying races to get entry into the 2017 IoM
And yes, he's one of my favourite racers too, mad as a box of frogs, but great all the same ????
Great character but not a great rider. Never won a TT. Legend for incidents like this.
......and this, the human fireball.

United have pulled out of ESL. The whole shiite show has collapsed. Best news of all is that Woodward has been thrown under the bus and is out of United.
Now for the big one, GLAZIERS OUT NOW!

If it weren't for the scrubs, I'd have taken them for the staff in my local 7/11.

The English strain currently ripping through Thailand is much more contagious than what Thais are used to. Without a severe lockdown, it will only be stopped by vaccines.
Its 1 1/2 times more virulent than standard Covid but doesn't appear to be more deadly. The AZ vaccine seems very successful against it.

Gee I don't know availability, priority, advice by the people that produce them, medical advice to the contrary. Where is the medical reason to have a vaccine whenever you like? Is that best practice?
Did I say that there is a medical reason to have the vaccine twice? I said that there is no medical reason not to.

I did track days but I would never been a part of the Isle of Man legend !
Mad Sunday isn't what it was. They used to close the whole 37 miles and make it one way. Now its just the mountain section. They also now have supercars driven by Hooray Henrys who line up at the bottom of the mountain and are allowed to go off before the bikes when the road opens. Helmets weren't compulsory in my day either.

Why not be vaccinated again?
If the vaccine is harmless and safe, you should be able to have as many as you want.
Up to you. Son in law, an A&E consultant in the UK, had Covid in October, although he subsequently showed good levels of antbodies, was vaccinated in January. No medical reason to not have an extra vaccine.

Games will have to kick off in the afternoon UK time if they are targetting the Far East market.
Not if they kick off in the Far East.

The drop in cases is orunarily due to lockdown regulations in UK
Drops in deaths and serious amongst elderly is helped by vaccinations.
And you base this on what? Lockdown restrictions are easing in the UK. Kids are back at school and you can go for a pint yet still number of new cases continues to fall.
10 deaths yesterday.

The chart is wrong.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56794047
"More than 10 million people in the UK have received a second dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, according to the latest government figures.
It means more than 19% of UK adults are now fully vaccinated, while nearly 33 million people have had their first dose."

The chart is dated!
Very.

Yes . Sorry you are correct but you understand the question?
Only the Thai cabinet and the CCSA can answer that question. Ask them.

Currently you have to have had the covid vaccine not less than 90 days before entry into Thailand.
Not more than 90 days, not less than 14 days.

First dose gives good protection after 3 weeks as illustrated by only 1882 new cases today and falling. Also, your chart is out of date. Now 10 million people have recieved 2nd dose which is 19% of adults. Currently administering 500,000 second doses per day and around 140k 1st doses.

I urge you to watch this video of Neville, he says everything we are all thinking, passionately and eloquently, a brilliant rant.
What if Sky get the TV rights to the ESL? Will Gary be offered megabucks to be a pundit on the show or has he just shot himself in the foot?

The IOM is my thing, I like MotoGP but compared to IOM GP riders they wouldn't risk riding there.
Wasn't always the case. Barry Sheene once rode in the 125 TT, Agostini, 15 times world champion won 10 TTs and of course Mike Hailwood, 10 times world champion and winner of 15 TTs. I remember watching him when he made his comeback in 78 . Won the F1 TT on a Ducati 900s. What a racer what a machine. True legend. They don't make 'em like they used to.
In the modern era, Foggy won 3 TTs, the lightweight Manx GP and god knows how many WSB races.

Well I was able to travel between Hua Hin and Bangkok over the new year, go shopping in markets and eat in restaurants. By what definition is that a lockdown?
You live in Hua Hin? Say no more.

Why are Spurs going to be in this super league? they've never won <deleted> all
Should be Forest, they've won the European Cup twice, or Aston Villa winners in '82.
To be fair though Spurs have won things, who could forget the Nolia Cup in Sweden in 77 or the Sun International Challenge Trophy in Swaziland in 1983?

Some are saying walked
Some are saying sacked on the spot for refusing to take the team out for training as a result of the news about the ESL. I'm sure that it'll all come out in the wash. No doubt Mourhino will say that he walked, Portuguese face and all that. 555

It's required for a COE, but not for future new extensions.
Only if the Non O is valid (normally 3 months after issue). If you're returning on an extension of stay (retirement) and a re-entry premit its not required.

I've known John Mc Guinness since he was a baby, used to go to the TTs with his dad, John Snr. Got locked up in Douglas jail with him and banned from the Island for life. managed to sneak back in a couple of years later though as did John Snr, Luckily.
Whilst over here I've managed both Sepang and Buriram MotoGPs. Sepang, great track, Buriram, not so much.
Oh and Macao GP which John was riding in and his dad was there for the pee up. Absolutely worst track ever.

Attended the TT in 78. watched a sidecar race from the bottom of Bray Hill, my favourite spot as there's no sight in bike racing like watching bikes power up the other side and over Ago's Leap.
Mac Hobson and Kenny Birch came down from the start, hit a raised manhole cover and the outfit whipped sideways and straight into a dry stone wall. The outfit slid upside down, all the way down Bray Hill with Mac trapped under it, face down, and Kenny Birch's helmet came bouncing down behind it.
Marshals lifted the bike off Mac and the medics put Mac on a stretcher. As they lifted the stretcher, Macks intestines slopped over the side of the stretcher with the medics trying to scoop them up. I thought I'd seen everything until they picked Kenny Birch's helmet up and it became obvious that his head was still inside his helmet.
Didn't attend a TT for many years after that until I flew over with my son in 2000 for the day. Watched the Senior from, you guessed it, Bray Hill.
