There is almost zero price competition in Thailand, so I'll believe price cuts when I actually see them on the supermarket or wine store shelves. I feel that most retailers and wholesalers will take the opportunity to increase profits rather than give the drinkers a break. And always remember here in Thailand anyone who cuts their prices to attract more customers gets his shop burned down or worse and the police will be unable to trace the perp. So as I said 'seein' is believin'.

They will in the short run but most will be given back to gain market share.

Currently have HP Inktank wireless 410 but have had nothing but problems with it. So now looking for new printer and thinking as I only print about 200 pages per year that maybe cartridge printer is the way to go.

My budget is a max of 10,000 Baht, any recommendations?

I gave mine away after two packs of paper. Total POS! Never buy HP again!

I love my new Brother DCP-T420W, It runs great, makes nice photo prints, fast on low-rez and cost about 5000 baht.

So what ???...  he still had a lighter on him...   whether he took it through security by accident, whether security were slack, whether its legal is irrelevant to the story...  (and its easy to find out that its not illegal)....

It does amaze me how on these thread people focus on pointless irrelevancies in a story which contains a far bigger issue...

i.e.  Guy dies driving to a funeral... and someone will focus on whether he was wearing a watch...

It is relevant when they are trying to ignite a passenger. Please keep up.

If it has hidden defects how would a motorcycle mechanic know?

There are not enough parts to hide a defect. Anyone would know. I would be looking for defects to lower the price, brake pads, lights, shocks, seat covers.... whatever. Anyone with a simple socket set can fix them.

Whats your point ??... he was on a flight from German and was carrying a lighter... So whats your take-away from that ?

    a) He smuggled his lighter through security.

    b) There is no restriction on lighters.

Answers on a poster labelled... 'How to focus on Irrelevant points in a forum thread'.....

There was a previous claim that lighters are legal based on the British rules. They are not necessarily legal. You do not need to be rude in your comments, it was relevant to the posts you did not bother to read.

Bringing a lighter on a plane in carry onCigarette lighters are allowed in carry on bags as long as they are disposable or Zippo type lighters. They can still have fuel in them as well.

They have confiscated quite a few of mine over the years. They are not allowed on planes.

FYI: Confirmed on TSA website. They are very specific about matches and lighters. Not allowed.
