By Private Interests, does this mean that they have deals with Jet Ski operators, Taxi bandits, Tuk Tuk thieves and Russian gangsters? I mean other than the usual arrangements.

The English I have heard from the Thai teachers is dreadful. If they are going to be serious about it, let the retired falangs volunteer a few hours a day to help. If budget is an issue, there are thousands of qualified teachers in India available. Dreadful accents but proper vocabulary. I would be happy to throw in an Algebra class for free.

I remember years ago in bkk for the first time and entering that huge IT place near Pratunam . Amongst the the endless stall holders selling motherboards were folks selling reasonably priced software.
I was in Korat and old it building looks like it is on its last legs. Do any of these places still exist. I am looking for a copy of Office. Yes I have seen the deals on ebay. I object to paying for a 365 subs considering how little I use it.
any thoughts
Try AShampoo.Com, they sell an Office knockoff that works great. I think I paid around 20 usd for three licenses. Get on their mailing list and wait for a promotion.
You can also download OpenOffice for free. It works great for basic office functions. https://www.openoffice.org/download/

Some info missing here.
1) Condo or Apartment?
2) Have a lease contract?
3) If she have paid rent on time, what reason has she's been told for only 1 day to move out?
Condos has written lease agreements. Rules for early termination should be clearly written in the contract.
Only a few actions by tenants gives the landlord the possibility to terminate the contract early.
Lack of payment, severe damage to the unit, drug use, other criminal activity inside the unit or on the property, altered the unit against rules in lease contract.
Read or upload a copy of the Lease.
Apartments often has no lease contract, still 7-15 days seems to be the norm for unpaid rent, unless anything else in writing.
You need to get more information from her.
1 day to get out, is not normal here.
Some property expert should be around soon
OK, it is a condo that they want to sell.
She has been staying there for several years.
She is a reasonable tenant that does not trash her home and pays consistently.
Mature adult with grown kids, no booze, no drugs, no stupid.
I can't help much with a Thai lease, I know some people that might be able to help there though.
She has an opportunity to occupy a smaller unit in the building but it is not the unit she rented.

What you have linked to is not an official UK digital IDP as can be seen immediately from the incorrect spelling of "licence". It is therefore not a real UK IDP service, it is a commercial enterprise conning drivers into buying a fake (ok, non-official) IDP as can be seen from where the site is registered (Singapore!) and their disclaimer...
"Legal Disclaimer: International Drivers Association is in no way affiliated with or a representative of American Automobile Association, Inc (AAA) and makes no claim to be a Government Agency".
Whether the Thai police would accept the fake IDP document is a moot point but I wouldn't bank on it.
Nobody has ever questioned mine, ever.

With an English license they will not need an IDP. If Thai language is available online they might choose to accept it. Thai is not offered in the IDP books.

What are the normal termination term for renting a condo? One day notice when payments are up to date does not seem reasonable. Every lease I ever had was at least a month, both ways. Does anyone know Thai tenancy laws?
Moving is not the issue as much as the timing.

I would allow an additional two hours, just because, you don't know. The 20k cash is a good point, record the serial numbers, just in case.

Front shocks are 1000 for the full kit, rears are 800 for the pair. Installation is easy but will vary by shop. I would expect under 1000 for all four. It all depends on where you live.

Reaction and colors for me. I have never seen the famous video, not that it would be a big deal.

Good. About time.
(My b/f tells me that when I die - assuming that's before him, which, given his driving skills, is not necessarily how it will be - he won't be able to get the death certificate so he can show it to the Oz Embassy so he can get access to my Oz mini-fortune ie Our Oz civil partnership not recognized in Thailand ... )
You need to set up a will and an end of life document naming him as your heir and EOL administrator. The disbursement of your Aussie holdings will be under Aussie law, the Thai law does not matter there.

Flying is more effective than land borders unless you have a story. A bus trip to Angkor Wat is much more plausible than a one day bounce, particularly to Myanmar. You can do a few exemption entries but they can refuse you at the border at will.

The frigate makes a lot more sense, there are practical missions available. A submarine in the gulf of Thailand is a useless target.

And good luck with that, getting a 12month statement same day if you have a BKB account, going by previous posts here.
You request the report a week in advance and then go directly to immigration from there.

What was the trigger? Knife attacks are never acceptable but neither is stuffing check bins.
Regardless, I hope he enjoys his extended stay in Chiang Mai.

You either need to have 400k in the bank for two months before you apply or 12 certified and stamped bank statements, dated the day of the application, showing transfers of at least 40k each and every month.
Watch out for this in December if you are relying on the US Government to make deposits directly. The chaos caucus is planning on payment delays.

How long is a string? The actual milling job maybe 6000. The disassembly/assembly part could vary from 10k to 200k. Boring cylinders is going to be a lot more.
No such thing as a head cylinder, but there are cylinder heads. Are you sure you know what you are doing?

No, even less so with a Blue book. The house book is your residence certificate.
