  1. Doubt you would spend a day at immigration. If you do, you might do something wrong or do not have the required information at hand. After few years you should know what is required for an extension each year. I spent 30 to 45 minutes at the immigration office to get the yearly extension. Total travel time, to and from the immigration office, 30 minutes. Once a year, free of charge. The beauty of not using an agent.
  2. Good luck with that here in Thailand.
  3. Maybe this forum is where people are informed and notified about changes in requirements.
  4. We do not know yet how the fee will be collected at airports. Assuming kiosks, long lines at immigration is premature. If the fee is included in the air ticket, nothing will change.
  5. Yes xxxx Sherlock, I did reply to your question. You did not like the answer you received.
  6. Although I do not agree with this tourist fee, there is not a lot you can do about it. 9 pages complaining about 300 thb. Same as with the departure fee, the complaints about entry fee will slowly fade away.
  7. Unfortunately, there are a lot more third parties you depend on just to get here. If you have trouble getting the TM30, you might have chosen the wrong place to stay.
  8. How easy it is to extend a tourist visa, for Thai national, in the UK? I think extensions here in Thailand are not that difficult or take a long time. Just be prepared with the required docs and all will be fine.
  9. It can take from 2 to 30 minutes. Pending above, 5 to 30 minutes. 45 to 60 minutes. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.
  10. From their site: ♦ Conditions for receiving notice of residence more than 90 days online - Submit a request in advance before the due date for the next report within 15 days. ♦Conditions for not accepting requests for notification of residence more than 90 days online - Incomplete data entered as required by the system. - Not due for the next due date. (Apply after the previous petition is approved in 1 – 75 days) - Submit a duplicate request within 3 days using the same user information while the status of the previous claim is pending.
  11. It does take longer than before for the 90d reports to be confirmed. If they cannot handle the volume, it is time to get rid of this requirement. (Keep on dreaming).
  12. "Anyone been grilled at immigration when using airport fast track?" Never. No guarantee.
  13. A few weeks ago, at Pathum Thani when I arrived around 13:30, several agents were already waiting with a lot of paperwork in their folders. When I left at 14:15 the first agent was called into the office. It appears that they first handled the 'normal' applicants before attending to the time-consuming agents.
