If I land at Suvarnabhumi airport at 10:30pm (Tuesday). Go through immigration.

Arrive at my SHA+ hotel (Test & Go) in Pattaya at 2:00am (Wednesday)

I will be charged a room for 2 days?

    TC.

You will need to talk with your hotel.

Some are relaxed about this, and others provide drive through testing.

There is a chance that they might require an extra night, but confirm with them to be sure.

I looked at AXA when it was $100k and price seems very similar to the $50k. Do they still offer the $100k?

Just for info, your duration bar seems super sensitive to me. While the age is very easy to set, I take ages trying to set the period to exactly 30, 60 or 90 days where the AXA price increments are.

AXA no longer offers a $100,000 USD coverage plan, and they have replaced their old one with the $50,000 USD plan.

Thank you for the UX advice, we will look into it. The issue is we now have 3 plans that support "per day" rates.

  3. We have added additional SHA+ hotels for Test & Go in the Bangkok, and Pattaya areas.

There also have been a few updates around the two most popular covid insurance insurers.

    1) AXA has changed its plan, and pricing to offer $50,000 coverage only.

    2) TuneProtect has created a "Lite" $50,000 USD coverage plan in addition to its standard $100,000 USD plan.

    3) TuneProtect has changed its coverage plans to cover all durations after 30 days. This means if you are staying longer than 30 days you can now choose the exact duration for your insurance (ex: 37 days).

You can see an example of all these changes on our Thailand COVID-19 Insurance Comparison page.

I was just trying to purchase your Thailand Pass Service but there's no option for "1 Night Test and Go" for Phuket?

I'm flying on the 17th (from Korea) ....submitted TP application successfully on 1 Nov but haven't gotten approval QR, so would rather pay for professional service to expedite this than trust the system.

(Just saw you replied to me on LINE. Thank you.)

    We have just added this.

Sorry for the delay, the initial reason we left it out was we needed clarity on the Test & Go rules for Phuket.

Phuket is the only Test & Go option which does not require payment of testing, and transport to be included in the hotel reservation.

Anyone know if this website is legit: https://www.asqbooking.com/ ?

When you go through the booking process, they send you an email giving the hotel bank account details to pay directly.  Which is better than paying a middleman (assuming bank details are legit). I also tried contacting the hotel directly, but no reply.

We suggest booking hotels that are a little more expensive if you are in a RUSH to complete your booking.

If you have time then you can pretty much pick anything, and you will eventually get a response.

The lower end group of entry hotels are being bombarded with inquiries, and are struggling to cope.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but I believe a two-night package is required if you arrive early *or* your PCR test result will not be back by normal check-out time.  Quoth the fine folks at Marriott today:

We are working on a better way to determine hotels testing practices.

Many hotels will allow testing up to 11PM without causing additional delays.

But if you are arriving after 11PM then you are most likely looking at having to book another "night" due to how hotels work (some may be more accommodating than others around this topic).

  7. Couple of big updates.

    1) Test & Go (combined list with SHA+ only hotels)

You may view the new combined list here:

    https://asq.in.th/bangkok-test-and-go-hotels

    2) Bangkok / Pattaya Sandbox Options

We also added support for Bangkok Sandbox options for those who do not meet the country travel requirements for Test & Go here:

    https://asq.in.th/bangkok-sandbox-hotels

Prices include tests, and transport, and hotels will continue to add their information daily.

Is it possible to book the tests and the hotel separately? I am paying for my family of 5. When I look at hotels I can book a SHA+ hotel for about 3000 bht a night for all of us.

    Tests are approx 3000 each. That = 15000 tests + 3000 hotel= Total 18000

When I look at hotel + PCR test packages they start from 4600 per person= 23,000

From what we understand they will be either included, or not included.

Unfortunately it seems like there is no official answer on which one it is yet.

Do you expect/guesstimate the first Phuket 1 Night Test & Go packages to possibly appear on your website within the next 4-5 days, or is it really an unknown at the moment?

You guys have been a great source of reliable info and updates so I figure you deserve my business.

I have a flight reservation to HKT on the 10th, so just trying to figure out if my schedule is still feasible or if I should postpone a few days....

    Cheers~~

We are hoping very soon, the issue is that we don't have clarity around testing, and transport requirements.

While we have had one report of someone getting approval for their COE using the PSAS system for tests for a 1 night Test & Go in Phuket using a SHA+ hotel, we are unsure if this was a mistake, or if this is the actual process.

I wished the hotels for 1 day AQ would state the taxi and RT-PCR test is included and they handle it. Some of the prices listed by hotels seem too low to have taxi and test included.

Yes RT-PCR, and transport is included.

If you find a hotel which is not including this please report the hotel to [email protected] ????

This only currently applies to AQ hotels.

If you want to enter Thailand using test & go you MUST agree to follow the rules and regulations, so you MUST submit your self test.

so its You who will act on your behalf if you don't submit your test,

We think it may go two ways.

    1) Submission to a test facility which will connect it to the Thailand Pass, they may know if you did not submit your results.

    2) Honor system (if you test positive you need to self report)

You are correct this step is very unclear. I was just mentioning that it is clear that the tests fees will be included, and ATK is required.

That could be the reason. As always, depends on the Embassy/Consulate, but pretty sure Chicago has had bad reviews since COE kicked in (delays and withholding approval until last minute, which is understandable but given people a heads-up that's the way they operate would no doubt be appreciated) whereas I've seen reports on the London Embassy completing the process in a matter of hours. Off the top of my head can only remember 1, maybe 2, reports of people actually having their travel plans screwed up but I can see it's a bit stressful given the timing and the changes,

As for the ATK, it's certainly not 100% clear on exactly how they expect it to work for "test and go". One would think clarification will be forthcoming when the issues with it suddenly dawns on them, (possibly even scrapped); but for now, it is what it is.

To make it very clear the official PR Thai Government facebook account has posted the following post

    image.png.10b34c6e9c7ead635240181405b459c9.png

    SOURCE: https://www.facebook.com/thailandprd/posts/4761140397242670

It clearly mentions that tests must be included in the accommodation price, and that an ATK self test is required for the Test & Go program. This was posted today.

  13. Under a recent development yesterday SHA+ hotels in Phuket will be participating in Test & Go but the process is not clear yet.

It may be possible they use the existing process with ThailandPSAS, and arranging your own SHA+ transport.

However in other regions where they will expand the Sandbox this may not be the same process, and all-inclusive packages may be required.

Unfortunately things are still unclear regarding SHA+ only stay, and seem to change every day.

We were informed by the end of next week this will be all sorted out.

  14. We have an update on how SHA+ stay will work for the "Bangkok / Pattaya" sandbox, and Test & Go.

The SHA+ hotels will need to have a partner hospital, and also package the test, and hotel pickup into their rate.

Those who already made SHA+ "standard bookings" may have trouble meeting these requirements.

It is not clear if travelers can buy the test, and pickup separately (it seems to be packaged).

So the result is a similar purchase model as AQ stay.
