  1. Actually, there's excellent 65% dark chocolate coming out of Indonesia now. So far, it's being manufactured as big round flat chips (callets). The name is Embassy. You can probably order it via Lazada if you're in Thailand. Thanks to the recent cultivation of high quality cacao trees. in Chiangmai, very high quality chocolate is also being made there. Kan Vela is one such producer. But it ain't cheap.
  2. Belgian chocolate runs the gamut from great to dismal.
  3. For me, it's their dark chocolate marzipan bar.
  4. He had majorities in the House and Senate. What has Sessions got to do with a legislative agenda?
  5. Just Dems? Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 6 footage sparks bipartisan outrage Fox News host Tucker Carlson whipped up a firestorm Tuesday on Capitol Hill, sparking bipartisan backlash and igniting tensions with Capitol Police by downplaying the Jan. 6 Capitol riot on his prime-time program as “mostly peaceful chaos.” His show divided Republicans, with a number of GOP senators ripping his portrayal of the incursion at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, who rarely offers opinions on political issues, said the Monday night show was filled with “offensive and misleading conclusions about the Jan. 6 attack. https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3888709-tucker-carlsons-jan-6-footage-sparks-bipartisan-outrage/
  6. Mostly manufactured in Taiwan, designed in USA.
  7. But those other conflicts weren't about absorbing your neighbors. Not about enlarging your nation through conquest.
  8. According to a Bangkok Post article dated oct 17, 2565 BYD offers an 8 year/160000 kilometer warranty on the battery. Does your research contradict that?
  9. You don't think this has anything to do with the fact that Russia was attacking its neighbors like Georgia and Moldova?
  10. Could you share with us the links to the poll you took to confirm this? I'm sure you wouldn't be making stuff up just out of political bias.
  11. You've had experience in dealing with these children. From the article you linked to: "Without puberty blockers, such physical changes can cause severe distress in many transgender children."
  12. In fact I have read the whole of the thread Here's how you launched it: "The man has served 18 years more than the sentence he is serving. Can they keep him imprisoned just because of what a few parole officers think of him?" You got it wrong from the start. A discretionary life sentence means the expiration of all those other sentences don't matter. The life sentence remains in force unless the authorities decide otherwise.
  13. Seems many don't understand that the Life of Brian wouldn't have worked as humour or anything else for that matter if there hadn't been a Jesus for us to reference in the first place. On the other hand, your comment that "it even says Brian in the first place" is in itself worth a laugh.
  14. "They are literally chopping off the private parts of young kids." https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2022/aug/10/ron-desantis/transition-related-surgery-limited-teens-not-young/
  15. A huge part of it is that states have slashed funding for universities. State Funding for Higher Education Still Lagging A majority of state legislatures spent far less on public colleges and universities in 2020 than they did in 2008, an NEA analysis shows. This means colleges and universities must rely on students to pay the cost of college—and those students are borrowing to do it. https://www.nea.org/advocating-for-change/new-from-nea/state-funding-higher-education-still-lagging
  16. "Just the place for a Snark! I have said it twice: That alone should encourage the crew. Just the place for a Snark! I have said it thrice: What I tell you three times is true." https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/43909/the-hunting-of-the-snark That's from Lewis Carroll's great nonsense poem. Maybe Jonnyf also believes that 3 times does the trick? Only time will tell.
  17. The point is that thaibeachlover's comment was ridiculous. People are buying a candy bar that they don't like just because they believe that they are special people? I'll say this for Toblerone and After Eight; unlike Cadbury they don't use cheap vegetable fats in their candy bars.
  18. Well since you've tasted it yourself, does that mean you have bought it and consider yourself special? Or did you steal it?
  19. I don't know so much about the waiting part. They've already committed armed aggression against other Asian countries and justify it by claiming that these territories used to belong to the Chinese empire.
  20. The Chinese factories basically assemble the iPhone. The chips are designed and manufactured elsewhere.
  21. Once again, you claim she broke the rules. Has that, in fact, been decided? And once again, you go after alleged motivation. You've got nothing.
  22. That proposal doesn't stand much chance for passage. But the one that Desantis is backing looks pretty close to a lock. If there were honest conservatives on the Supreme Court, this bill would ultimately be judged unconstitutional. As it stand now, who knows?
  23. There you go again. Another case of mind -reading about someone's motivation. "The dress was hideous". And one of the cliched tropes in silly films is about gay men making criticism not based on the issues at hand but rather about fashion. Congratulations for emulating that ridiculous behavior. And I didn't know that it had already been decided that the dress broke ethics rules. Can you link to a source for that?
  24. Thanks to you and everybody else for the advice. I do appreciate it.
  25. Look familiar? "If you add all of his sentences together, he has still been in prison 18 years longer than his sentences." He was sentenced to a discretionary life sentence.
