Because right wingers are largely in favor of EVs? Living an alternate reality much?

Patel also publicly claimed that Donald Trump had verbally declassified all the documents he eventually wound up with in Florida. That claim was met with great skepticism. Yet he refuses to disclose the substance of his testimony to the Grand Jury. What's he hiding?

False False. This is from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) "Electric cars In January 2025, new battery-electric car sales grew by 34% to 124,341 units, capturing a 15% market share. Three of the four largest markets in the region, together accounting for 64% of all battery-electric car registrations, recorded robust double-digit gains: Germany (+53.5%), Belgium (+37.2%), and the Netherlands (+28.2%), while France saw a slight decline of -0.5%." https://www.acea.auto/files/Press_release_car_registrations_January_2025.pdf?utm_source=mailpoet So not only did Tesla sales fall sharply, but total sales of EVs grew by 34%.

. 27, 2025, 5:02 a.m. ET The United States economy is starting to show signs of strain as President Trump’s abrupt moves to shrink federal spending, lay off government workers and impose tariffs on America’s largest trading partners rattle businesses and reverberate across states and cities. Funding freezes and firings of federal workers combined with the prospect of costly trade wars are souring consumer sentiment, raising inflation expectations and stalling business investment plans, according to recent economic surveys. Local economies are also bracing for a sudden withdrawal of fiscal support, forcing officials to contemplate tax increases or municipal bond offerings to stabilize their budgets. https://archive.ph/iznzK

Actually unlike many partisans on this in this forum. I didn't count on a Democratic victory in 2020 or 2024. Of course right wingers have the advantage of me here. Not only did they mostly predict that Trump would win in 2024 but also in 2020. And they mostly still believe that their prediction for 2020 was correct!

For those of you who may not be aware of what test Harrisfan is referring to, it's an online IQ test which Harrisfan claims gave him an IQ ranging between 127 to 143. It seems bizarre that someone claiming to have a high IQ would believe that such a claim coming from an anonymous person should have valid evidentiary value. The proof is in the pudding, and to mix metaphors, given the quality of his posts, Harrisfan's claim is very weak tea. I can imagine Harris as a schoolboy who gets an "F" on a test and then tells his teacher "I don't care if my examples weren't relevant and I didn't offer evidence to back up my claims. The fact is I have an IQ between 127 and 143, and that is enough to qualify me for an "A". Harrisfan once again offers evidence of his mental incapacity by claiming that the polls are leftist without offering any evidence. Apparently, if the results of a poll or polls aren't to his liking, that makes them leftist. This kind of thinking, if you want to dignify such mental processes with that word, clearly undercuts any claim to superior mental acuity.

Another person a alleging themselves to have a high IQ but somehow doesn't understand the need for evidence to back up their claim.

Do you understand what cherry picking means? The article cited the three latest polls. You got that? Not one but three. Now a person with a high IQ would try to offer evidence that there were other polls taken about the same time that had sharply different results. Or, perhaps, they would some evidence that these three polls, or some subset of them, have a history of bias. In other words, a person with an IQ ranging from 127 to 143 would offer something called evidence. They woould definitely not believe that offering a negative characterization unbacked by evidence would have any dispositive value.

Canada's ruling Liberals mount a comeback with Trump threats, polls show OTTAWA, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Canada's ruling Liberals, who a few weeks ago looked certain to lose an election this year, are mounting a major comeback amid the threat of U.S. tariffs and are tied with their rival Conservatives, according to three new polls. An Ipsos survey released late on Tuesday showed the left-leaning Liberals have 38% public support and the official opposition right-of-center Conservatives have 36%. The Liberals have overturned a 26-point deficit in six weeks, and run advertisements comparing the Conservative leader to Trum https://archive.ph/R3sZu

To be a leftist, is it a prerequisite to hate the west?

Given the recent events vis-a-vis Putin and Trump, and Trump's attitude towards economicallyl advanced nations, the question ought to be "To be a Maga supporter, is it a prerequisite to hate democracies?"
