  1. Wow! This stock is dropping 17% in pre-trading today. I have never seen that before. Trump lost something like half a 💸 billion dollars before breakfast today. He's going to be in fine form at the trial today.
  2. Deflection. Fani Willis did not charge her trips as a campaign expense. The trial is coming soon enough, you don't have to make up stuff to confuse people about the facts of this or any other case. Nobody is going to remember your trolling when these trials happen.
  3. DOJ put Michael Cohen in prison for that nothing.
  4. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Trump's appeal is going to be about application of state law, not about a conflict between state and federal statutes.
  5. Unless it's a case where a minority or illegal immigrant is the alleged killer.
  6. One of the crimes for which Michael Cohen was convicted. This was discussed just yesterday, please try to keep up.
  7. Trump will be dead of old age by the time that happens.
  8. I am not sure if conviction in a county or state court can be appealed to the Supreme Court if the appeal is about state law.
  9. As you may have noticed, my opinion is that Trump has a good chance of being acquitted of a felony, if his lawyers make the case that Trump did not commit an underlying crime. Do you disagree?
  10. Wow. Your understanding of the charges is way out there. The payments were made just before the 2016 election, but you don't think they were made to support Trump's campaign?
  11. I've been on a jury. Everyone has biases, the trick is to not let them impact your decision.
  12. I don't think there will be a problem proving the facts of the case - the problem will be proving the elements of the felony charge, I've that the fraudulent business records were intended to cover up a crime. Tying Trump to the underlying crime is the task of the Prosecution and it won't be easy.
  13. Michael Cohen didn't come clean until 2018. DA Vance declined to prosecute because of imminent retirement. DA Bragg indicted Trump about 18 months after taking office. Then, the Trump delays began.
  14. Does this mean you will stand by other Van Jones comments about Trump? Seriously, the Russia *was* a nothingburger if the goal was to indict Trump (DOJ policy precluded charges against Trump), but was serious in terms of laying out Russia interference in the 2016 campaign. And indicting some Trump minions.
  15. The Steele dossier was old news by the 2020 election. The real question is why it wasn't used in the 2016 election.
  16. Trump could argue that Michael Cohen paid off the ladies without Trump's knowledge, to help win the 2016 election.
  17. Invoking misdemeanor charges would result in a sure conviction - unless Trump's attorneys are going to argue the facts of the case, in which case, if successful, they could beat misdemeanor or felony charges.
  18. That approach would lead to a sure conviction. Trump has a good chance of winning against felony charges, or if he loses, appealing until he is dead. The felony charges are shaky.
  19. The people who think the 2020 election was stolen are clueless deadenders who are wrong all the time. They and their antecedents are the people who supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq - until they didn't. They loved Dick Cheney - until they didn't. They think that tax cuts for billionaires will make them rich.
  20. *If* Trump had a functional brain, which apparently he doesn't, this is what he would do: Call for Iran to cease attacking Israel. If they stopped, he could claim credit for years. If they didn't, he could blame Biden. But Trump has nothing to say that is intelligible, because he is clueless about this conflict. And he is paralyzed by fear over his trial.
  21. Really bad for the bars. I personally flee the country for Songkran and am in Macau for the duration. With 2 Thai ladies.
