Trump, allies fire back at media warnings of second-term dictatorship

Polls this early are meaningless. -
I suspect that the details of this scheme remain TBD, and this is unlikely to be implemented. If it comes to pass, this would likely be direct compensation to hospitals for unpaid bills. So.... tourist has an accident, is hospitalized. No insurance, no money. Hospital sends the bill to the government, after the patient's pockets are empty.

Almost none of the above will happen. Excep that Trump will be convicted by the convention, and no one will care. -

Using the term "negro" was common in 1973. You seem desperate for material. Maybe your internet masters aren't sending you good stuff anymore. -

I personally would prefer another candidate. But, if Biden is the candidate, so be it. -

I would attack any politician who paraphrases Hitler. Especially a demented old man who was found guilty of sexual assault. -

With the stock market at an all time high, unemployment way down, inflation under control, and manufacturing way up, you've got a tough message to sell. Even if you were right, Germany showed the world that installing a dictator because of a bad economy is a bad idea. -
Colorado Supreme Court kicks Trump off ballot

Unfortunately, I agree with you. For the 14th Amendment to apply, a person must have been convicted of sedition. Otherwise, any state court can kick anyone off the ballot, simply by observing that they participated in an insurrection. So, Georgia could kick Joe Biden off the ballot, because they can. -

"A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution." You can argue with your Orange Jesus. He doesn't seem to agree with you. -

So, for you, suspending the Constitution is a bad thing only if 100% is suspended. But you are okay if, for example, Trump just suspends the Bill of Rights. Or the 13th Amendment. Got it. -

Wow, you have a terrible track record where Trump is concerned: Former President Donald Trump faced rebuke Sunday from officials in both parties after calling for the “termination” of parts of the Constitution over his lie that the 2020 election was stolen. -

Trump reportedly considered activating the Insurrection Act twice during his presidency — first to quell Black Lives Matter protests and later to hold on to power after his election defeat. But now, Trump is talking about suspending the Constitution. Of course, you don't care. -

What Trump said is available all over the Internet. Perhaps you are trying to argue that he didn't say it. The problem is that he paraphrased Hitler, and you don't care. What's next? -

Colorado Supreme Court to hear Trump 14th Amendment appeal
Danderman123 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Trump hasn't even been charged with insurrection, let alone been tried and found guilty. This is banana republic stuff. Imagine if the Georgia state courts removed Biden from the ballot because of his insurrection? What Biden insurrection? That's my point, as long is being an insurrectionist is subjective, any court can remove any candidate. -

Colorado Supreme Court removes Trump from state's 2024 ballot No, I don't agree with this. The voters, not the courts, should choose candidates. The US Supreme Court will strike this down.
