You can always apply again via Alternative Quarantine.

I fly on the 10th. i applied every day, starting on the 1st. I just received approval for the application submitted on the 4th.

I received a QR code approval email for my November 4 application.

Thailand Pass is so crowded that nobody uses it.

I should note that airline staff are capable of screwing things up even if all of your paperwork is prefect. It’s an ongoing risk. last time, I had a check-in clerk specifically tell me that Thailand was closed for tourism, never mind my COE. Another would not let me board unless my smartphone had Thailand Plus loaded, which required verification codes, no fun.

I generated a QR code at CVS.com for my vaccinations, edited so only the code appeared, and uploaded it just now with a new application in the hopes that this will allow automated processing of my latest application. Alternatively, since I leave on the 10th, maybe someone will see it and push the right button, because I am leaving soon. I did get a confirmation email right away, but no QR code yet.

You can apply using the Alternative Quarantine method.

Today is the 6th. I received my confirmation email on the 1st. Still no QR approval yet. I fly on the 10th.

The cutout QR code seems to have at least a 50% instant success rate, as long as the code is from the EU.

Let's try this. If you don't ever receive a QR code from Test and Go, but have one from Alternative Quarantine, and it's your flight date, would you just cancel your trip and throw away your AQ QR code? Really? Did you know that the Ministry just last week advised people applying for a COE using Test and Go to upload their one night AQ1 booking, and work it out in Bangkok?

You can try the Alternative Quarantine method, which seems to work.

I am sure that everyone who has a TP QR code via the Alternative Quarantine method has also applied via the normal Test and Go; if they eventually receive a QR code via Test and Go, they will use that to travel. If they don’t, they will use the QR code they do have, and take their chances at the Airport and in Thailand. Do you have anything helpful to add?

If your choice is to either cancel your booking, or fly to Thailand using a AQ QR code, what do you do? Let’s assume you leave today ….…

So, if you were not lucky enough to receive a QR code via Test and Go, which of these would you do? A) Get a QR code via Alternative Quarantine; or B) cancel your bookings.

Not for Test and Go, only AQ.
