One interesting angle is the status of the campaign organizations of the two candidates. Harris has built the largest campaign organization in US history, with hundreds of thousands of volunteers. Trump decided to use outside organizations for his ground game. The two principal organizations, Turning Point USA, and Elon Musk's superPAC are responsible for GOTV operations. Charlie Kirk's Turning Point was responsible for Michigan, but is backing out in favor of Elon. Meanwhile, Elon's PAC fired their canvasser company, and is going with a new group. The canvassers are focused on infrequent voters, a unique approach in Presidential politics. Meanwhile, the Harris canvassers are out in droves. We'll see which approach works.
