  1. Some posters seem to have a hobby of starting pointless arguments on every possible occasion.
  2. @Brickleberry Why don't you refer to what the topic is about - UNRWA, rather than constantly deflect and try to hijack the topic with ICJ comments?
  3. @thaibeachlovers Come now....you're a Putin fan. And surely there are some among the Hamas leadership you seem to play cheerleader for who may qualify.
  4. @thaibeachlovers Two more steps forward and you'll be called something you're sure to whine about. Being a Putin and Hamas fan is not a license to twist facts, mind. There was no such official claim by Israel, you're making things up. As usual.
  5. @thaibeachlovers Unproven how? UNRWA itself accepted the allegations and admitted them. These further allegations were embraced by several Western governments representing donor countries (including yours). Somehow, you think you know better. On what basis?
  6. @Brickleberry Even from your link, it is obvious that it is not 'the Israelis' as a whole. You just make these sort of blanket statements because, well, that's what you do. This is about Israel presenting evidence regarding UNRWA workers ties to Hamas, and donor countries accepting the evidence. You cannot address that, so you go on about anything but.
  7. @thaibeachlovers Oh dear. All this money invested in tunnels and rockets could have secured Gaza's economic situation, provide for stocks of supplies and so on. Never mind the point that if it wasn't for Hamas there would have been no blockade, no destruction and no deaths.
  8. @Brickleberry A lot of bears running around in someone's mind. So, to get back to reality - Neither you, nor 'we' received any intelligence dossier. Governments have. As to the full evidence therein - you do not know much beyond what was publicly published at this time. Now, considering that a bit earlier you were going on about 9 out of 13,000, and claiming that was it, maybe some reflection is due as to this being (as expected) a hasty statement. All of the rant above is meaningless, and carries very little weight. Governments received information, and acted upon it. Not one, not two, nor even three. And the list grows daily. You think you know better, without any information? You think these governments aren't aware of what's going on in the Gaza Strip? That they are unaware of the ICJ's ruling? And still, they have decided to act as they did. Why is that? Because Israel wants them to? Israel tells them what decisions to make? They can't make up their minds on their own? Or maybe, just maybe, they see the evidence presented as credible enough, at least to temporarily de-fund UNRWA and withhold donations. Because mind, again, that there is no obligation or requirement involved - these are donations. Nowhere was it said that the de-funding is permanent, or that UNRWA will be dismantled. At this step is about cleaning it's act - something UNRWA failed to do for a long while now. All you ramblings about Israel are irrelevant. This is not about Israel. This is about UNRWA.
  9. Oh, yet another one of them 'obviously''s which you do not, and cannot demonstrate of support - very convincing. Same goes for the 'MIC' bit. You ought to read that link what was published just above and get a clue.
  10. Comes with being a global superpower. A whole lot of interests which cannot be addressed without having representation outside the USA. The isolationist stance is not feasible, or even possible, nowadays. Offering populist comments does not address this, of course.
  11. I did. It does not answer my question, nor does it quite supports yours - and is nowhere quite as negative as some comments here.
  12. Sure. Because going on about MSM, MIC, and other acronyms, without bothering to support them wild allegations is perfectly reliable and trustworthy.
  13. You made a rather wide ranging claim about USA economy. I've asked a rather simple question.
  14. Not that you can, or will, support this conspiracy theory with anything.....
  15. Wonder what set this off. Probably some nonsense confrontation, where the 'youths' felt they lost face, or something.
  16. I think that the credibility of your constant baseless insinuations, allegations and so on is also relevant. Hence 'trolling'. It's good that you won't go into further off topic issues, because that would be even more off topic than your WMD attempt.
  17. Apparently the Biden administration is not quite as on-board with Israel's/Netanyau's positions, and maybe there are limits as to how far support will go: Biden administration discussing slowing some weaponry deliveries to Israel to pressure Netanyahu https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/biden-administration-discussing-slowing-weaponry-deliveries-israel-pre-rcna136035 Scoop: Biden tells Bibi he's not in it for a year of war in Gaza https://www.axios.com/2024/01/26/biden-netanyahu-israel-hamas-war-gaza-timetable I think these comments and moves are alright. The USA got it's own interests, and a wider perception of things - especially in comparison to the current Israeli government. And at the bottom line, one country is a superpower, and the other is....well, not. Difference in power translate into effect on decision making and options. And, by the way, people who accept this proposition should bear in mind it applies to relations between Israel and the Palestinians, as well. Such is the way of the world.
  18. I mean like stop trolling with off topic nonsense, and read my post further down the topic (or right above your last one).
  19. On the other hand: US, Israel believe up to 80% of Hamas tunnels intact after 114 days of war – report https://www.timesofisrael.com/us-israel-believe-up-to-80-of-hamas-tunnels-intact-after-114-days-of-war-report/ Almost any war bring about new military challenges. Dealing with tunnels seem to be one of the major ones related to this conflict. I guess that regardless of governments stance in relation to the conflict, many armies (and para-military/terrorist groups) are following these matters closely - learning the lessons, and/or trying to device strategies/solutions. It sure does go much harder, and turns out to be far more complicated than expected.
  20. Didn't take long... Enemy drone that killed US troops in Jordan was mistaken for a US drone, preliminary report suggests https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/enemy-drone-that-killed-us-troops-in-jordan-was-mistaken-for-a-us-drone-preliminary-report-suggests/ar-BB1hr5Jh
  21. I don't recall you being that critical of Trump when American bases and soldiers came under attack by Iran/Iranian proxies when he was in office.
  22. @Danny Australia That would be you with the usual lies: (a) The ICJ does not. Even what you posted does not amount to your assertion of things as fact. (b) I have not supported anything of the sort. That's a blatant lie. (c) Other then in your posts, Israel is not a 'terrorist state'/ (d) You do not seem to have much issues with Hamas/Gazans deliberatly killing Israeli children and women. Maybe you were trying to demonstrate what the topic is about, consult the headline.
