@Pattaya Spotter I am guessing you dont have a WP, thats why they offered a secured credit card. With WP there is no need for fixed deposit security. I have K bank cr card for 4 yrs now, the phone support officers speak fluent English. They updated my address on the phone itself, very convenient.

Peter its like this - When I started working , I already had PINK id and yellow book. Went to R.D. , showed by Pink card and got same number registered as TIN. I do not have a separate TIN, my TIN starts with 6XXXX Whereas, people with no pink card get TIN which starts with 0XXXX Both are 13 digits You may open an account with Yellow Book & Pink Card, not a problem.
