I have an extension of stay based on marriage + work permit issued in krabi. Extension is valid till 17 oct 2022 and work permit till 01-aug-2023 My wife wants to move to bangkok this year. Question is- If I get an extension of stay based on marriage from CW will my work permit be invalidated? or At the time of renewal of work permit in 2023 , wont the DOE question me as to why I have a extension from Bangkok?

You have to get a statement of 'Intention to renounce Italian citizenship' from your Embassy in Bangkok. This letter needs to be translated to Thai as well.

Sometimes even SB makes mistake in documents, I suggest you to follow up in person. I am sure you can take 1 day off from your busy schedule. Just check in person if all the documents are in order (bring some sweets) ???? Carry all documents, just in case they want to see any.

He is a Naturalized citizen, so are you & others. It is obligatory for naturalized citizens to update Thai ID in all documents. Use of former nationality is forbidden inside Thailand.

Not for Thais. For Thai citizens it mentions name in English & Thai along with the ID card number . @Neeranam You have to change in Driver`s Licence as well.

James you're a provincial candidate? maybe thats the cause of delay. My friend applied for it in Bkk around april 2018 in dec 2021 he was Thai, so its a tad over 3 yrs

I strongly advice you to visit MOI and check if all documents are okay. Even SB makes mistake sometimes as @Arkady mentioned in his previous posts

What were they doing from 3 yrs? Did you follow up with MOI Lamlukka?
