My post #5 outlined some of the (huge) benefits of applying for a Non Imm O-A, and I provided info on how to easily meet the one inconvenience of that Visa (i.e. the insurance requirement).

That seems fully wrong to me. Non-O + Extension is the best way IMHO.

It also requires (before Covid) this famous insurance and a lot of more documents than Non O.

Currently easy to book flights from Europe in the below 400€ range, same before.

Here: One example on Paris-Bangkok, 339€ return.

For some reason I thought the tall building in the distance was the Siam Hotel, but I can clearly see View Talay 6 now so you're spot on, it's around the Soi 6 area (Have never been on the beach there ???? )

Most of border between Laos and Thailand is impossible to control. There are hundreds of boats crossing the Mekong river all day long (and night?). Majority of them are loaded with food and products for markets, but so easy to bring illegal travelers with these boats.

but many times it's full of threads from "World News" forum about politic in foreign countries (US & UK mainly). These are threads I am absolutely not interested in. ????
