Since when have Thai authorities shown any consideration for long term expats? on the contrary, it is much more the case that are making life increasingly difficult. //

Uh? It may be a bit difficult for those on Mariage extension (lot of documents!), but for those on Retirement it would be difficult to make it easier! One visit a year with 4-5 page of paper is not what I call hassle. (and again, problems coming from USA or UK embassies are something else)

  2. The alternate-side parking on South Road in Tukcom area is a good thing. It took a very long time for people to accept and adapt to it. If police stops to enforce this rule in this period, police will have to restart from zero after theCovid period, with nobody respecting this rule...

Doing online would be great if only it was working. Probably it will never function properly for people who got a new passport or those who are staying in the country for more than 10 years. ????

Uh? I am living here for more than 10 years, have to replace my passport at least twice during this period, and never* had problem doing my 90-Days reports online...

*never, except one time when they closed the system during a few months, a few years ago.

Was the waterfall open?  is it still double price for tourists?  Welcome to the Selfie Zone! Sanook Mak!

Ok... And now be a little honest and tell us how many times a year this is happening...

And second, tell us if you ever saw that not-after a strong rain who caused overflow in many rain collectors.

Sure it's a bad thing than need to be fixed. But that only happen a few times a year after an exceptional deluge. It's certainly not a frequent "waterfall"

VISAs is the MFA's way of making money.

Extensions are immigration offices way of making money. //

And brown envelopes are their employees' way of making money.

    - Never heard of brown envelopes in Thai Embassies or Consulates ??

    - Very rarely heard of such envelopes in Immigrationgration Offices. I read about a few cases on this TV forum, but clearly it's the exception, not the rule.

There are between 750,000 to 1 million unsold cars sitting in German dealerships, the vast majority of them are conventional petrol and diesel cars and no-one wants them as majority of people are moving to an electric vehicle if they are thinking about purchasing a new car

    Big exaggeration !

Sure that many buyers think about electric or hybrid, but did you see the price of electric vehicles ?!!!

Still many years where majority of people will continue to buy conventional petrol cars.

Hopefully you don't have to go to Banglamung Hospital for a dog bite, my mate was here from Brisbane  a few years ago and had Tetanus injections into his fingers,cost....Bht 10.000.00!

Sorry but I am tented to call that full B.S. ...

    Why?...

Because I was unlucky to get a severe calf bite by a soi dog in last November.

I went to the public Banglamung Hospital.

    - first bill was 645B including care and dressings, anti-Tetanus and first shot anti-rabies

    - bills #2, 3 & 4 were 256B, for successive anti-rabies shots

    A total of about 1'600B only ????

Edit: I see now it was an already old post. But still, Banglamung Hospital is the best choice for many cares in Pattaya
