  1. Anyone that factually stated on forums that Hunter Biden's laptop was real as corroborated by the Biden's business partner Tony Bobulinski who was cc'd in the email chain, and who confirmed 100% that Joe Biden was "the big guy" was banned from participating any longer. Anyone that factually stated that Smollett's lynching was a hoax for the first week or so, and that Harris's and Booker etc's tweets blaimng Trump/MAGA for the lynching were inappropriate was banned from internet forums. Now, losing your voice might not be the end of the world, but still this was punishment for speaking the truth, and liars that had a false narrative beneficial to the democrat party were encouraged. Relevant seeing as the OP is about gaslighting. There is no worse gaslighting than FORCING people to accept a false narrative.
  2. Spot on. And the key point is that the left actually FORCED people to accept these fallacies and would punish you for saying the truth. That is the key difference between conservatives saying they doubt election results(as did Biden, Hillary and many many dems) which is their opinion. They NEVER forced liberals to agree with them. So due to the left forcing people to accept lies that benefit the democrat party they are of course much better examples of gaslighters.
  3. High time they legalize that garbage. Most of the problems to society it causes come from it being expensive, thus addicts engaging in criminality - oftentimes violent- to fund the habit. Plus the pure substance is not particularly physically harmful/toxic unlike ethanol. Legalize it. Ensure 100% purity. Add on a bit of tax. Robert's your fathers brother.
  4. Hyperbolic comments I hope, although it is hard to know the purpose of misinformation these days. The GOP would prefer the Ukraine conflict ended with negotiation and understanding rather than nuclear armageddon. In fact the war should never have started, and had the adults been in charge it likely wouldn't have. I noted how the rhetoric out of Kiev changed dramatically when it appeared the GOP might win both houses. I fail to see how bringing back jobs, boosting energy production, riding China hard etc would "threaten America’s fiscal stability", but then isn't it you that keeps saying Biden is paying down the defecit? Block election reform by insisting on valid photo ID and only legitimate votes be counted?
  5. China's leader is super relieved the population are disarmed. Tyrannical regimes thrive with an unarmed population unable to defend themselves. A valuable lesson in there somewhere.
  6. As has been repeatedly pointed out to you, there are no "fears about misinformation". The fear is losing control of the (normally false) narratives benefitting the democrat party. And it is true. Musk will make Twitter a level playing field, rules must be applied to by BOTH sides. Not the normal for social media pre Musk for sure. None of the advertisers raised concerns over the censorship and fallout of Twitter falsely calling Hunter's laptop Russian Disinformation. They didn't even cry foul when the biden regime went full-on 1984 and tried to install conspiracy theorist Nina Jankowicz in a regime controlled Ministry of "Truth" to control what can or can not be said on the internet(she was a notorious laptop denier and pushed the conspiracy theory that Hunter's laptop was Russian Disinformation - it wasn't). If such jaw dropping acts of fascism, disinformation and pure malice didn't get the big companies running ads to raise flags of concern, then nothing will. Nothing short of losing control of a narrative that is. Twitter has become a much more vibrant and interesting place now that everybody is welcome to play. I had to laugh looking at the WHite house's twitter account. Before when you read comments under a post they were Oh best President ever, ahh such a lovely family etc. Now you'd have to scroll past hundreds of non toadying comments to find one pro regime post. Twitter just got real.
  7. A laughably false and totally insulting claim. Hardcore supporters of Trump are likely those that were appreciative of 4 years of unprecedented world peace and an immediate end to the constant ISIS/NK/Russia fear mongering. Hardcore supporters are likely those that appreciate one rule of law for all, and the concept of meritocracy. They were thankful of lower taxes and the push to ensure free speech for all, not just progressives. As you see, many reasons
  8. agreed, but I suspect it will only be in the short term, or Musk will have other ways to generate revenue.
  9. The core point in this whole saga. These companies were happy advertising on Twitter when they banned the New York Post for factually accurate reporting to allow a vile conspiracy theory to flourish, an overreach which has led almost up to civil war(2). They were happy when woke bullies were engaging in repeated hate actions, such as carrying the bloodied and severed head of a President and the comments following. Yet now now they whine? Trump hasn't even Tweeted since he was reinstated. His past posts do NOT show what we were told they showed and why a sitting President had to be banned while the Taliban and Iranian mullahs were not. These companies now have a serious credibility problem and a lack of moral fibre. I expect it will turn out like it did for woke Bob Chapek at Disney(1) who pushed some whacky conspiracy theory while official measures were taken to protect vulnerable young children from predators. Well Chapek got FIRED for his nonsense. These companies had best suck it up and return to advertise on Twitter even if the bosses are personally triggered by free speech and having their biases challenged on factual bases. I can understand car companies pulling ads btw, it's understandable jealousy and should not be conflated with the companies having visceral reactions to opposing opinions and free speech. sources substantiating claims made (1)https://news.yahoo.com/disney-fires-ceo-bob-chapek-131235505.html (2)https://time.com/6222633/second-civil-war-us-how-to-avoid/
  10. Yes quite probable. You mean the New York Post suing the rear end off Vijaya Gadde, Dorsey and Roth? Or Trump suing the threesome for election interference?
  11. Yes fair point. What words and actions has Ms Broaddrick said and done for you to (non hatefully) label her as "scum"?
  12. Major news. Musk will make public the private messages used by Twitter to censor and falsely accuse the New York Post of posting misinformation when it correctly and factually accurately reported on the Biden laptop. A monumental error that changed the face of American politics and highlighted how the left control the public discussion and abused the power for political gain. He is doing it to try and regain trust in Twitter, although all social media outlets that participated in this censorship and banning of truthful voices should do likewise as part of their rehabilitation process. "Elon Musk has insisted that full disclosure on Twitter’s decision to censor The Post’s exclusive story about Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop is “necessary” in order to restore public trust in the social media giant. “Raise your hand if you think @ElonMusk should make public all internal discussions about the decision to censor the @NYPost’s story on Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 Election in the interest of transparency,” the user tweeted. Twitter’s new CEO quickly responded: “This is necessary to restore public trust.” https://nypost.com/2022/11/24/elon-musk-says-full-disclosure-is-needed-on-twitters-censorship-of-the-posts-hunter-biden-laptop-story/ This will be fascinating. I suspect the messages will confirm that they knew full well there was no evidence the laptop was "Russian disinformation" as democrat activist msm falsely claimed for the last couple of years and did the censoring for pure political purpose. Note CBS only took 700 days to stop their disinformation. It suggests a lack of urgency to correct false narratives that were so perfectly self serving.
  13. Is it possible accusing others of being "scum" without personal knowledge of them is hateful behaviour in itself? Certainly labelling the poor woman that Bill Clinton abused and then Hillary tried to undermine and deny her truth as scum is an extreme stance. In the many years we have been "friends" on social media in posts and pm's I never witnessed her saying anything hateful, quite the opposite actually. Kudos to Musk for ending political persecution and returning anti authority intellectuals to social media.
  14. This serves as an excellent reminder why leaping to conclusions, particularly ones that suit a popular narrative is unwise in the extreme.
  15. Yet a poll of 15 million a couple of days ago was dismissed as meaningless garbage?
  16. Bit embarrassing to admit, but quite enjoying Twitter these days. SOme of my favourite accounts have been restored Carl Benjamin, Jordan Peterson, Juantina Broaddrick etc The trending topics are also now real, not democrat talking points, this is totally different from before. Not saying you should give it another chance, but it's an enjoyable place for a surf nowadays.
  17. Fair point. But I don't expect this info will be made public - why would he? What I did see was virtue signalling msm outlets that made a big song and dance about quitting twitter due to their fear of opposing opinions and free speech come back a couple of days later hoping nobody would notice. I expect advertizers will do the same. After all, business is business, and twitter is by far the best in class. "CBS News has returned to Twitter after a pausing its activity on the platform for just over a day, the network announced Sunday." https://www.thewrap.com/cbs-news-returns-to-twitter-as-network-monitors/
  18. Well failing Twitter that is "soon to be bankrupt" is smashing new records with the new boss at the helm. Note this is active users not new members/bots. Very impressive indeed!
  19. Probably best to follow due process rather than lock him up for no reason (or drone strike him, as one esteemed member likes to say). It would only backfire on the democrats - just like their election denialism now is. These judges should not fear the special master. Everything has to be on the level, no more shenannigans by the DOJ. You stormed an ex Presidents home at night just before a crucial election on the most ridiculous and flimsy excuse - and still months later it looks they jumped the shark yet again. 6 years of persecution and hoaxes against Trump, let's let an adult supervise this time shall we?
  20. Hong Kong, Singapore and KL/Penang. The runway has not been lengthened, these international flights have run for years. Hope they dont add more flights, its noisy enough as is
  21. Acting on price sensitive info that is not known to the market is illegal, no matter who does it. Dont confuse this insider trading with the general legality of govt officials to trade stocks - which IS legal.
  22. Multiple claims, zero links. Any news about Twitters daily user numbers skyrocketting? Any news on proud companies taking the high road and leaving Twitter due to their aversion to free speech and opinions that challenge their world view coming creeping back hoping nobody would notice?
  23. I was responding to a factually inaccurate post stating that had Hunter done anything illegal he would have been charged. We all know he did illegal things and did not get charged, I proved it with examples.
  24. Let's forget the corruption for a minute and focus on the truthfulness of your statement. Is smoking crack now legal in the USA? Regardless of the photographic evidence of him smoking it, he freely admits to having done so in his memoir and countless interviews, and his father also said he did it. Years pass, he never was arrested for narcotics crimes. and this "President Biden appeared to admit Tuesday that his son Hunter lied about his drug use to buy a gun — a federal felony — by pointing to the first son’s memoir, which describes his roaring crack cocaine addiction at the time." https://nypost.com/2022/10/11/joe-biden-says-hunter-is-on-the-straight-and-narrow-denies-alleged-gun-crime/ 2 clean cut crimes. Years passed, the DOJ refuses to hold these guys accountable. Your statement is clearly factually incorrect, Hunter did many things illegal, evidence is abundant and conclusive, no charges are laid.
  25. quote "The problem is that Biden's campaign did not meet with foreign operatives, that Biden did not commit an abuse of power by pressuring a foreign leader in order to try to discredit his main opponent" demonstrably false - in fact your whole post has no bearing on reality, but I''ll just fact check your statement here as left wing msm did cover it so I can provide a link. Biden pressured a foreign sovereign nation to delay an oil price hike until AFTER the midterms. No reason whatsoever to do this other than to gain political points. "The Biden administration asked Saudi Arabia, the de-facto leader of oil producer group OPEC, to delay its decision on oil output by a month, the kingdom said in a statement. Notably, Biden’s request would have delayed the decision until after the U.S. midterm elections." https://www.cnbc.com/2022/10/13/biden-admin-asked-saudi-arabia-to-postpone-opec-cut-by-a-month-saudis-say.html and then to make the scandal much worse the then threatened consequences for Saudi not doing what Biden wanted "President Joe Biden is angry at Saudi Arabia for its decision to slash oil production along with its OPEC allies against U.S. wishes, and he’s made no secret of it. The oil producer group in early October announced its largest supply cut since 2020, to the tune of 2 million barrels per day from November, which its members say is designed to spur a recovery in crude prices to counter a potential fall in demand. For this, Biden said in an interview with CNN on Tuesday that there would be “consequences.” He did not go into further detail as to what those consequences might be." https://www.cnbc.com/2022/10/12/biden-threatens-consequences-for-saudi-arabia-after-opec-cut.html Real quid pro quo'ing. Will he be impeached for it?
