I have real issues with the way they put rubber bands on plastic bags here so i cannot open them and end up cutting the off with scissors.
it used to be far worse with similar problems for carrier bags which ended up with knots in the top but, since they banned them, my stress levels have improved significantly.

There have been loads, can't be bothered to look them up.
I am well aware that other govts have had data stolen from databases . The bit i struggle to understand is the people that seem to defend the govt for having unsecured databases and where those criticising them for it are called ‘bashers’ apart from the govts themselves and their pr shills. Very few would find it acceptable because someone else did it before. -

Comparitech has published many data incident reports like this one, including:
- 35 million US residents’ personal details exposed on the web
- India visa agency exposes 6,500 traveler’s visa applications on the web
- Prison phone service Telmate exposes messages, personal info of millions of inmates
- Social media data broker exposes nearly 235 million scraped profiles
- UFO VPN exposes millions of logs including user passwords
- 42 million Iranian “Telegram” phone numbers and user IDs were breached
- Details of nearly 8 million UK online purchases leaked
- 250 million Microsoft customer support records were exposed online
- More than 260 million Facebook credentials were posted to a hacker forum
- Almost 3 billion email address leaked, many with corresponding passwords
- Detailed information on 188 million people was held in an unsecured database

non of these look to be leaks from a govt database.- 6

100,000 visitors spending 1.2bn baht is only 12,000 baht each. Since they will have to pay 14 days for hotel fees can’t see there been much left.

That sounds odd - there is nothing on that paper that says who is vaccinated or with what. How about if you want to use your vaccination paper to travel? I thought you can travel within Thailand after you had your first jab.
i assume i will get these details with second jab. The moph say that the morprom app can do this however you need either thai id no or a 13 digit reference number which is allocated by hospital and, if you need the number, to contact hospital that administered jab.i did not take a copy of my docs before handing them back so not sure if this 13 digit number is on there. I did try the app with my pink id card number but it did said it was not in system - would be surprised if it was as everything registered under passport no.

Is there any other paper apart from that paper? (Not asking for myself but asking for someone.) He said there was a paper with the appointment date only but there is no name on that paper. What is the 'Kept the paper "to register with the government"'.... thanks.
There is a set of paperwork with a copy of your passport showing your details that they also manually add things like weight, height and bp to. The nurse puts the sticker from the vaccine with serial/batch details on it when giving the injection and writes the time on it. After you sat for 30 mins afterwards the time was checked and they took the paperwork back.
I assume these details are input to a central database as they have some way of knowing when the initally check that you have not been vaccinated elsewhere as apparently some have been turned away.
I beleive there may be a reference number on there to register for the moph digital passport thingy but i forgot to take a copy before they took it back but i assume this will be given at second vaccine in three weeks anyway.
the only bit you take away is the one Tingtong shows above.

Nothing about boosters, nothing Will repeat Sky news
If it is the Dr Tim Spector interview you are referring to I am pretty certain he did not make the claim you attributed to him - it would be a pretty big turnaround given the BBC interview with him over the same study he did states:
“Prof Spector said: "Waning protection is to be expected and is not a reason to not get vaccinated. “
https://www.bbc.com/news/health-58322882
if it is someone else making these claims them maybe you could back it up a bit.

reply (probably only automated one, some 51 minutes after writing to her):
"Remarks:
This survey is only to ascertain the number of vaccines needed. The hospital cannot specify the number and vaccine type including the date and time of vaccination.
The hospital will contact you via the provided mobile number once the vaccine is available and will allocate vaccines in accordance with the conditions in numerical order."
I completed form yesterday morning and got sms back in the evening. Just leaving to get my pfizer jab which is booked for between 2pm and 3pm. The link is for any non-thai over 40 that has not yet received any jab.- 4

If my theory is correct, there will be no Pfizer available after that date, will wait and see
If the second dose of pfizer is in 3 weeks that is possibly the date they are working to - need to do first dose at least three weeks before expiry date and hold second doses if no guarantee of further supply before then.

Hello Orac,
do you live in Pattaya? Is it also for foreigners who don't live in Pattaya? Thank you.
i do live in Pattaya. The form needs your BPH hospital number so for people who have a number i guess. -

A lot of foreigners are getting pfizer in bkk so there is a way to get you pfizer shots i would try to register for that first . I got my first pfizer shot yesterday at bumrungrad sukhumvit soi3 and will get the next on sept 13th free of charge . So maybe it's an idea to visit the website . And even if you have to travel to get it , i still think it's better then taking sinovac .
Options now in Pattaya as well - i completed form with Bangkok Pattaya Hospital this morning for +40s and have appointment for pfizer vac tomorrow.- 2

Understanding that there are a lot of duplicates - I registered at four sites, prepaid for one, so far - that's still a lot.
If the regime is truly interested in getting everyone vaccinated ASAP, then they'd loosen the restrictions on the private, paid option.
I'd submit that, for a few reasons, they do not want the private option, so artificially constrain it.
To be cynical, if the aim was to vacinate everyone, there would be no private scheme and they would order them from as many sources as possible with a clear plan of rollout based on need, however this would severely reduce the opportunities to take a cut for signing an order.
The even bigger cynic in me foresees a change in policy in a couple of months where all vaccines in Thailand are commandeered by the state for a national rollout plan and those who pay will be left waiting - those at the top of the tree will always get theirs first anyway and it would appeal to the massed ranks of poor voters….
Personally I have registered on three lists of which two involved a prepayment but will be surprised if i get anything this year.

A passenger was identified and now they are contact tracing. Isn't this how it should work?
looks to be two separate incidents as the passenger arrived on a flight several days after the contact tracing dates. -

Though on the first day of vaccination, they had a problem with 500 people, and since I haven't read anything anymore, so not sure if it's still operating
I did see on a local restaurants facebook page (Tropical) that staff went on first day and it was chaos with them being told to come back following morning - next day everything went smoothly and all staff were vacinated.

Thanks for the background...how did she procure such an important role with the Government with TAT?
family has a lot of pull at senior levels - her uncle Sirichai owns the likes of Dusit Thani and Thanachart Bank. I did see somewhere that another uncle had been a senior adviser to several governments in the past of various political and non-political persuasions. The family name itself, Bulakul, is derived from “Bul”as in Pibulsongkhram, one of Thailands early dictators, and “Kul” meaning clan.- 2
