  1. They have a belief that their religion is the only right one? That is precisely my point. This lack of explanation as to why their own god ois real and the others fake absolutely establishes that no religion has the right to this claim and that they are all fake. I'm not asking them to prove their religion is real, I'm asking them to explain why the other religions AREN'T real.
  2. If they can't know, why do religions typically claim theirs is the only true god? Can they all be right? They are all wrong if they can't resolve this question satisfactorily.
  3. Atre you being deliberately obtuse? Just don't want to answer the question? Are religions all fake or are some real? Which ones?
  4. The FBI would like to speak to at least one of those agents. What's that about?
  5. Why do Christians hate the Muslim religion then? My issue is that the competition between religion disqualifies them all.
  6. Can you address my point? The tension between religions about who's is the real god is the crux of the arguement that religion is false.
  7. Are you actually suggesting that the Pentagon uses the possible existence of UFO's to justify their budget? Show us where they have made that argument? Or are they just made in a forest somewhere? Our solar system is a comparatively new solar system in the universe. It's probable that many alien civilizations have come and gone on various planets long before we came into existence. Even if they were here right now, could they see us any more than we can see them? We aren't even aware at a non scientific level of the presence of most of the organisms on our own planet. We have no clue how many organisms live in our own bodies. How many of them are aliens? Aliens could take almost any physical form. Most are unlikely to be even smart enough to make machines just as almost all of the species on Earth aren't. Humans are just another species of the millions of organisms which exist on our planet.
  8. Surely there aren't still people who don't believe a plane flew into the pentagon? That's really tooth fairy stuff. What about all the people in these photos? How many of them have said they saw no evidence of a plane? Were they all threatened buy the deep state for inexplicable reasons? Moreover, we know that there were other planes hijacked that same day and flown into buildings. Were they faked too or just the Pentagon one? "piece of aircraft lies in the grass while fire crews work to put out the flames in the minutes after the attack, 11 September 2001. (U.S. Navy/JO1 Mark Faram)" https://www.military.com/history/25-intense-photos-pentagon-9-11.html Here's some more photos of bits of American Airlines flight 77. Are they faked? What happened to the actual aircraft if it didn't crash into the Pentagon? Did the FBI cut it up into little pieces and bury it? Your comments remind me a retired US general who Fox trotted out after MH17 disappeared and he claimed it was in a hangar in Pakistan and that we would see it again in another terror operation. This stuff truly boggles my imagination. Seriously. Can you now please acknowledge that there are in fact photos, contrary to your claim?
  9. I didn't think they needed comment. It's very obvious from those graphs that the climate is warming rapidly. We do from basic science that fossil fuels and methane from livestock are the sole causes of the warming. Climate scientists are telling us we need to act. The UN Secretary General said today that the Earth is not just warming, it is boiling. I don't need an argument. I'm not a climate scientist. I read what climate scientists say and interpret that the best way I can. The preponderance of evidence and opinion of those climate scientists who's work I have read is that humans are 100% responsible for global warming or climate change.
  10. GOP strategist Mike Madrid believes that obsessing over Hunter Biden "just smells like Benghazi," and he doesn't think it is a smart strategy for Republicans. Madrid told Politico, "Republicans trying desperately to make a story. It's always, 'We've got a witness coming, we've got more coming.' It's always next week. It's like a soap opera: 'Tune in next week.'" https://www.rawstory.com/it-s-like-a-soap-opera-these-republicans-are-weary-of-their-colleagues-hunter-biden-obsession/

  12. What about the other religions? That's the single biggest argument against religion. Each religion claims their god is the only god, or the true god. All nutcases.
  13. A survey of scientists found that the majority of elite scientists do not believe in God. The survey, conducted by the Pew Research Center, found that only 7 percent of scientists believe in God, while nearly two-thirds (64 percent) do not believe in God. https://www.dvaita.org/a-majority-of-elite-scientists-do-not-believe-in-god-survey-finds/
  14. Not understanding how the universe came to exist is a long way from proof that god exists. That's a classic non sequitur.
  15. Impeach away. Let's go wingnuts. Let the party begin. A strong whiff of desperation surrounds threats to impeach Biden Unhampered by the lack of evidence of presidential malfeasance, McCarthy took the leap that the Republican party’s right wing has long been craving. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/jul/26/republican-threat-impeach-biden-desperation
  16. Seven major automakers say they’re joining forces to build a North American electric vehicle charging network that would rival Tesla’s and nearly double the number of fast-charging plugs in the U.S. and Canada. General Motors, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes and Stellantis said Wednesday that they will share in a multibillion-dollar investment to build “high power” charging stations with at least 30,000 plugs in urban areas and along travel corridors by 2030. The dramatic move is intended to speed the adoption of electric vehicles, allaying fears that chargers won’t be available for long distance travel. https://apnews.com/article/automakers-fast-charging-network-electric-vehicles-cbb6c0102345c0db38f2baf96db742da
  17. As Republicans in the House of Representatives push for expunging former President Donald Trump's impeachments and float shutting down the federal government, Democrats in the chamber are sensing an opportunity to win back some of the seats they lost last fall. In fact, Punchbowl News reports that House Democrats are "salivating" at the prospect of their Republican colleagues blundering into self-destructive political stunts. https://www.rawstory.com/house-republicans-2662485685/
  18. You'd be wrong. It was a serious question and my suspicions have been borne out most likely.
  19. I never said that weren't aliens on other planets. Like you, I believe the odds are that there are. Statistically, it wouid be nearly impossible that there weren't sentient beings on other planets. What I said was that they are highly unlikely to have overcome the physical constraints we also face and had they done so we'd have seen some concrete evidence of their presence other than the odd farmer's daughter being beamed up into a spaceship.
  20. That's true but the claim is that they actually are aliens. That's what I dispute, not the fact that they haven't figured out what they are.
