  1. I was hoping somebody would start a thread for this. So, this week we had two teenage cheerleaders shot when they tried to enter a car they thought was theirs and another black teenage boy shot for ringing a doorbell on the wrong house. Other countries don't have this problem because angry old white racists don't get to own guns.
  2. You link to this misinformation? I guess ya'll don't like to do any research because that would involve using a search engine and they are all controlled by big business or the deep state? The Sun can influence Earth's climate, but it isn't responsible for the warming trend we've seen over recent decades https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjAxIO74Lj-AhWKxjgGHdejAnMQFnoECA8QAw&url=https%3A%2F%2Fclimate.nasa.gov%2Ffaq%2F14%2Fis-the-sun-causing-global-warming%2F&usg=AOvVaw2Hgf_fBv1TOTG0OVStySvV But the warming we’ve seen over the last few decades is too rapid to be linked to changes in Earth’s orbit, and too large to be caused by solar activity. https://climate.nasa.gov/explore/ask-nasa-climate/2910/what-is-the-suns-role-in-climate-change/
  3. It's like asking if you want to be shot or hung. Either will kill you. The danger from nuclear power is not an existential threat for the whole planet, just large swathes of it. The danger from CO2 is an existential threat for the entire planet as far as humans and most other animal life is concerned. We don't need (and most of us don't want) nuclear power. Germany just proved this. Whether newer generation small light water reactors or whatever they invent makes a nuclear comeback is another topic.
  4. Excuses for why it failed (where's your link?) don't take away from the fact that it did fail and when they do fail they have dangerous and long (forever) consequences.
  5. the customers to choose the variety they prefer and adjust the ingredients to their preference I find it very salty. I'm going to ask my local som tum stand to leave out the sugar and fish sauce.
  6. The report focuses on a Russian vessel called the Admiral Vladimirsky
  7. Don't you think scientists compensated for that? They weren't all about America either.
  8. I already posted 13. How many more do you want? They are detailed. And they have links ot more information. I'm not here to tell you what you should eat. I'm telling people who want to read it what I eat.
  9. The government health authorities and peak nutrition agencies publish myths?
  10. This again? Obama's beachfront house is 13 metres above sea level.
  11. All you're trying to say is that the rich will die last.
  12. Maybe go read the links instead of trying to relitigate past arguments? You're doing your trolling thing again.
  13. And vegetables. I'm not sure how it could be any more precise than that.
  14. Whether or not anybody eats it, every single health and medical authority recommends it for longevity. That's what I said. Earlier in this thread I produced a list of 13 such links.
  15. Just because they live in the Mediterranean area doesn't mean they follow a Mediterranean diet. In fact, most don't. The Japanese diet is high in seafood and vegetables. That's similar to the Mediterranean diet. It's not about recipes it's about food.
  16. works for me, others can make their own decisions.
  17. Go ahead and rewrite it. Nobody's stopping you. Just make sure you quote your research.
  18. They never went away. I just spent a couple of days in Bangkok. Masks everywhere.
  19. I guess you must be buying imported goods from the UK then? ????
  20. Most modern day recommendations from health authorities and credible institutions in developed countries recommend a Mediterranean diet which is why I try to follow it as much as possible.
