I did as you suggested. Thomas has taken millions and never disclosed them while siding with Crow 100% of the time. Is that the empirical thinking you had in mind? If not what numbers are you thinking? You do know what empirical means don't you because it doesn't seem that way from the context of your post?
I gave up after he insisted the wiki definition was mine. You can't reason with that sort of logic.
Then there was this piece of word salad
"Block chain software and mining equip mean nothing to it's value. That's about as close to a Ponzi scheme as you can get."
Gold is nobody's liability either. There is no difference between the way bitcoin and gold are traded in terms of the market forces which make them move. In fact they tend to follow each other in price action. The fact that you can touch gold but not bitcoin is an irrelevant difference.
You simply don't understand what the concept of a ponzi scheme is. It isn't any asset that you can buy or sell once. A ponzi scheme pays a regular return on investment. Like interest in a bank.
I have no BTC investments whatsoever. I'm simply pointing out that your characterisation of BTC as a ponzi scheme is just more meaningless buzz words which aren't rooted in the English language as most understand it.
Does this sound even remotely like a description of what crypto is?
A Ponzi scheme is an investment fraud that pays existing investors with funds collected from new investors.
I don't care what people think but when they claim facts in an effort to influence others without making a considered and coherent argument or providing links to evidence I believe they deserve heavy criticism. It's not as if their misinformation is just their personal opinion and isn't damaging to others. Not by a long shot.
Anecdote time.
Three weeks ago I met a guy at the bar at the entrance to Nana Plaza while having a beer with mates and waiting for the bars to open. He claimed he had a condo nearby and was a pilot but never touched Nana Plaza girls.
Yesterday I met a guy in the same spot while doing the same thing. He lived out Udon Thani and had a condo in Pattaya. He looked after a mate who had advanced alzheimers and showed me pictures. Unpretentious. We exchanged line id's and may meet again if he comes to Pattaya.
It's political sheeple disputing man made climate change and nobody else. The fact that people fly across the Atlantic instead of rowing makes you skeptical? Really?
