  1. Here is a perfect example of the OP. Neither you nor anybody else here has ever attempted to provide any credible evidence that the Bidens are getting paid by anybody. The CNN rating are clearly and logically irrelevant to the discussion about conspiracy theories. CNN also competes with MSNBC while Fox doesn't. Fox suffered huge rating drops when they correctly declared AZ for Biden but I didn't see the right wing admit they were wrong because of those ratings. Fox admit they were lying and still it has no effect. You and many other posters here are proof that truth has absolutely no effect on conspiracy theorists.
  2. I find that to be the biggest reason to switch to linux or macos, essentially the same thing. I use both but more comfy with linux these days. I do run win 11 pro in a VM on my linux machine.
  3. He only needs to be tried. Failure to do so (on the insurrection charges) will b a green light for the far right fascists.
  4. Please provide a link to your claim that judge Juan Merchan campaigned for Trump's imprisonment. Joe Tacopina, a criminal defence attorney retained by Mr Trump, told CNN on Sunday: “I have no issue with this judge whatsoever … He has a very good reputation.” “Do I think the judge is biased? Of course not,” Mr Tacopina added while speaking to George Stephanopolous on ABC News. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/04/05/donald-trump-judge-juan-merchan-claims-fact-check/ Also your claim that the grand jury was 86% Biden voters. edit: I see that the claim was made by Alan Dershowicz. He must be a mind reader.
  5. Progressives won their first majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court in 15 years on Tuesday night when Milwaukee County Judge Janet Protasiewicz defeated former Justice Daniel Kelly, a victory that will have huge repercussions for voting rights and abortion access. Protasiewicz’s victory in this $45 million contest―which shattered the record for the most expensive state Supreme Court race in American history―now gives liberals a 4-3 majority on the Badger State’s highest court. Kelly’s allies, including Republican megadonors Dick and Liz Uihlein and the powerful business lobbying group Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, tried to avert this outcome by running a barrage of ads attacking Protasiewicz as weak on crime, but their message failed to have a big enough impact. https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/4/4/2162037/-Liberals-take-charge-of-Wisconsin-Supreme-Court-for-first-time-in-15-years-with-Protasiewicz-victory
  6. Top Republicans have obviously figured out they are on a loser. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and his top deputies stayed silent Tuesday as former President Trump plead not guilty to 34 felony counts, signaling how far they have diverged from their former ally. Many Republican senators blame Trump for the loss of the Senate majority and the disappointing performance of Senate Republican last year. There are also big doubts about Trump’s ability to win the general election in 2024, especially as he faces the prospect of additional charges from the Department of Justice and the Fulton County district attorney. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/3934484-mcconnell-lets-an-indicted-trump-twist-in-the-wind/
  7. Alchemists said they could make gold out of lead.
  8. It's rather sad that human attributes like "intelligence" and "smart" are ascribed to inanimate objects in what is just a clever (pardon the pun) marketing ploy. Gullible people tend to be deluded into thinking that these objects have actually acquired those attributes. I guess that's what marketing is all about.
  9. We have an organic brain, computers are electronic circuits. There isn't a valid comparison there. A bunch of wires (integrated circuits or not) will never be "intelligent".
  10. High-protein, low-carb plans like the Paleo Diet tend to do better at increasing the full-stomach feeling, reducing appetite and causing weight loss, said Cordain, also a Colorado State University health and exercise science professor. "Hence the tenets of the Rice Diet are inconsistent with the best science of the 21st century," Cordain said in an email. Five years after Kempner died, Duke severed its ties to the Rice Diet in 2002 and Robert Rosati, who had already been working with the program for nearly two decades, took it over. https://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/health/rice-diet-center-closes-70-years-article-1.1451274
  11. I think the problem, asbestos, has been removed from the talc now.
  12. US 10 year yields are dropping like a rock, inverted compared to the 2 year which is apparently a harbinger of a recession coming. The US non farm payrolls are out this week and they will be very interesting in predicting a recession coming or not. Gold is rising sharply as a response as the price of gold always rises before and during a recession.
  13. There is no mention in the wiki article of weight loss in reference to this diet.
  14. Gerrymandering continues to present a problem for Democrats and democracy in Wisconsin, but Republicans are unlikely to address the issue anytime soon. When Republicans redrew the lines again in 2021, they further boosted their advantage in the Assembly. Compared with nearly 1,000 statehouse elections across the country between 1972 and 2020, Wisconsin’s efficiency gap in 2018 ranked as the fourth most skewed toward Republicans at 15.4%, according to researchers at Harvard and George Washington universities. https://pbswisconsin.org/news-item/wisconsins-assembly-maps-are-more-skewed-than-ever-what-happens-in-2023/
  15. This has enormous repercussions in the battle against electoral gerrymandering which is how the Republicans cling to power. The Republican brand is really on the nose with several of the last supreme court elections going in the liberal direction in this very conservative state.
  16. This Walter Kempner? The rice diet is pseudoscience at its worst, nor is it modern and neither was it used as a weight loss diet. The modern version of the rice diet has been categorized as a fad diet with possible disadvantages including a boring food choice, flatulence, and the risk of feeling too hungry.[12] Most people cannot follow the rice diet over extended periods, as it is too restrictive. Loren Cordain has commented that "the tenets of the Rice Diet are inconsistent with the best science of the 21st century" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rice_diet
  17. Trump may be the first former president to face criminal prosecution, but that fact in and of itself is a damning condemnation of the U.S. system of impunity." Pointing to former U.S. President George W. Bush; his vice president, Dick Cheney; and Henry Kissinger, who served as secretary of state and national security adviser in the Nixon and Ford administrations, he asserted, "The truth is that all of them should be serving substantial prison sentences for directing and orchestrating the gravest of criminal activity: war crimes." https://theintercept.com/2023/04/04/donald-trump-indictment-war-criminals/?utm_campaign=theintercept&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social
  18. When I was at school at age 13 I took "The Godfather" to school and showed all the kids a graphic description of sex where he pushed a woman against a wall and forced his "pole of muscle" into her. I guess DeSantis should ban that book too.
  19. I do know the rice diet dramatically increases the weight of many people. The only way his diet would work would be that it contained one grain of rice.
  20. Both correct. AI is a misnomer. There is nothing "intelligent" about computers. AI is about deeper and faster data retrieval and analysis. Modern computer allow for the faster processing of larger amounts of data, nothing more than that.
  21. Trump's motives extended well beyond trying to save a little money.
  22. Not to mention the exploding heads complaining about political persecution. Who could forget Trump's collusion with the AG trying to investigate and charge various political adversaries and antagonists?
  23. Both have already been discussed and linked. I'm not surprised that you don't know that.
