    We bring the kids all the time. Plenty to do and see. Great shopping,restaurants,and 5 star hotels. Perhaps you should visit more places than "Boyz town"?

    Definitely would lead to higher quality tenants. Many Thai owned condos lack proper maintenance compared to foreign owned condos in my humble opinion.

    Somewhere quiet? You'll end bored as hell. First time, a month. Bangkok (3 days),Pattaya(21 days), and a short visit to Koh Chang(5 days). Despite what some may say,Pattaya is a blast and I know many people who have dreaded leaving, only to extend there stay. Bring plenty of money, Thailand isn't cheap! At least 100.00 US daily not including hotel if you want to enjoy your holiday.

    Yes, 25 years ago they didn't have premier 18 hole golf courses,top rated 5 star hotels, excellent shopping and dining to rival ant city in Asia. Don't forget the vibrant nightlife!

    It allready is. Great food,fine hotels,great nightlife. Despite the few right wing conservative religious nutcases on this forum, Pattaya is known,and rightly so as the go to place in South East Asia. There's a reason Pattaya has some of the most expensive real estate in the world.

    Its been a problem for years. The local temples in our area are filled with drug addicts and drunks.

    It's the way it's done all over South East Asia. Most of the "Haze" and "Smoke" is coming from Myanmar, Lao's,Indonesia,Cambodia,etc. Bad air has been around Chiang Mai forever. In hindsight I'm glad I chose not build a house there. It's never going to change.
