  1. Yes but many vendors just don't do that / have no intention of doing that. Nothing to do with the vendors, the Grab app gives that option to tip the driver using the online payment facility.
  2. Nothing wrong with that policy from which they get a revenue for their business.
  3. Just like they do with watches they auction? LOL The police do not conduct auctions. Seized items are auctioned by the government, not the police, and buyers are provided with documentation legitimising their purchase. Which "RTP watch auctions" are you laughing out load about?
  4. Lazy. He was arrested and charged by those "lazy" police.
  5. He's been charged so what incentive did they have in this case?
  6. Arrested, charged, as the OP states, then released pending court. That's the norm for this type of offence everywhere.
  7. Before he has even been convicted? Which legal system allows for that action?
  8. Yes, they did arrest him, obviously... "The police confirmed they had issued legal charges against Parkphoom for causing severe injury and both mental and physical harm ... Parkphoom has acknowledged the charges...". Not every person charged with an offence is jailed immediately. He goes to jail, possibly, after he has been convicted.
  9. So you can't answer that but I'm sure you'll find some BS. CVT has been used in production cars since the late 50s, that is what I said in response to your reference of "CVT being around at least 10 years". Now you're throwing "steel belts" into the discussion after the fact!
  10. Don't waste your time, it is not your vehicle so they will not disclose any information about it to you. As someone else posted, if the seller bought it from a government auction (the RTP do not conduct auctions) he would have been provided with the requisite documentation.
  11. Can't You READ I said AT LEAST ! Yes, I CAN READ; do you not KNOW that 60 years-plus is "AT LEAST 60 years", not "at least 10 years"!
  12. 10 years? It has been used in production cars since the late 50s.
  13. Nothing is "Sad" about it except, probably, the bloke you referred to who reported on his test drive of a CVT car and subsequently gave you the first "Sad"!
  14. Have you and your colleagues ever speculated why you pay so much attention to the men you see as effeminate?
  15. it's not supposed to be inhumane What was confirmed as being "inhumane" about her time in prison?
  16. Not all of it She did all the time that she was obliged to serve by the Thai and Australian authorities.
  17. She is, she's selling a book about her being jailed for drug smuggling, a criminal activity of which she was convicted!
  18. And how do you justify calling every other former inmate with a vastly different recollection of life behind bars in Thailand a liar? Nothing further "Nothing further". Of course, you've "nothing further", not even one single link to one of those "countless" videos of Klong Prem that you claim exist that contradict my comments, or, perhaps, your own personal account of Klong Prem. Why do you choose to disparage me as being a liar whilst preferring to believe those doing nothing but making a few quid out of it?
  19. Because I was there, I know exactly how life goes on in Klong Prem and I am not a liar. I do not have a book or movie to sell, that, without exception, every other ex-prisoner does and, without their exaggerations, over-dramatisations and invented situations, no one would pay a penny for.
  20. They can help if the plan is to go for multiple rounds!
  21. Really? Countless videos smuggled out of and showing Klong Prem, the place the Aussie druggie and I were in and the only place that I am posting about? Link to just one of those "countless" videos, that directly contradict my experience, if you can. Or maybe you have some personal knowledge about Klong Prem that you would like to share that would justify your calling me a liar?
  22. "That's the only insight that is needed" - seriously??? Because Liverpool Lou says so - let's dismiss all other countless inmates personal recollections different from yours as exaggerated hogwash and never mind the countless reports ranging from respected news sources such as Thompson Reuters, Bloomberg All of whom, without exception, are selling something - I'm not! I don't care if you believe me or not, it doesn't make any difference to me.
  23. Lockers are available to store personal items. Yes, everyone sleeps on the floor that was covered with what we used to call linoleum that was cleaned every day, not bare concrete. A thin mattress was provided with a blanket and a tiny pillow. When I was there all inmates had enough space to sleep with a good few inches between each person...none of that "nine inches of bare concrete floor" nonsense.
  24. Provided you have money & visitors. Provided they have credit in their prison accounts (no prisoners have cash), and/or visitors. Those on the outside can (could) send food in without actually visiting...pizzas were frequently sent in when I was there.
