  1. She can never be compelled to leave Thailand!
  2. IB has not issued any deportation or visa revocation order yet, so far it's just a request from the police investigating and the Swiss is fighting it legally.
  3. I must have missed that. So then what happened please? The pickup was located at a construction company.
  4. That's what they were, stories - hearsay. But keep promulgating urban myths about judges if it makes you happy.
  5. You're absolutely right, in any trivial car accident the aggrieved party has the right to murder whoever touched his precious car. I didn't say that, you did! But good that you clarified that it was your hit-and-run that apparently started it all. I'm not condoning his action that injured you so severely, just trying to get the full picture right.
  6. He admitted it was deliberate. Hit and run is normally an accident. So he admitted, and was charged with, hit and run, not "attempted murder"? Am I reading that correctly? But you hit his vehicle with your bike first and did not stop, i.e. a hit and run, hence why he had to chase after you? That's how your OP reads.
  7. "...followed my m/c... I bumped his car that made him angry". Sounds as though this was initiated by your hit and run!
  8. As has been said previously, sympathy for your nasty experience but it was a hit and run charge, not an "attempted murder" charge, yes? Did you stop to acknowledge responsibility immediately after your initially colliding with his vehicle, which is what you appear to be reporting?
  9. Maybe it meant a horn blaring to warn him to get out of the way, not a siren. Previous reports were that the illegal emergency lights were removed when the pickup was abandoned so it is very likely the the "siren" was, in fact, a siren.
  10. Might have been one of the bodysnatcher vehicles. They often drive like complete lunatics. It was a construction worker who illegally had lights and sirens on his vehicle but removed them after dumping the pickup.
  11. How did they know if the truck had pi55ed off? Because, as has previously been reported, patrolling Tourist Police saw the pickup pissing off and chased it.
  12. What would you have me do? Sorry, but I'm all out of medals and a pat on the back is doubtful as my arms are not that long. However, having got what you wanted, good luck. I don't want you to do anything, I was simply telling you how getting a Revolut account is easy without a UK phone number, something that you wrongly claimed was impossible.
  13. So that's not actually an offshore account is it? Revolut does not claim to offer "offshore accounts", offshore accounts are offered by offshore banks, Revolut is neither.
  14. Never known Admin to edit posts (except when they contravene the forum rules)...what reason would Admin have to do that?
  15. America, probably, as the United States of America is commonly referred to.
  16. You certainly can. But you must use a VPN connected to your home country, and give them an address (can be any, a friend's or a family member's), and a phone number. A UK phone number is not a necessity, neither is a VPN to open the basic free account. I did it on a Thai number and used a very old UK post code,
