  1. But AN posters would have been so bored for the past week or so!
  2. wow i did not realize our resident expert was in the car You're too kind, really, but your appreciation will be cherished
  3. Why would you think that could happen? Do you charge your daughter for your services?
  4. Only in your overactive, accusative and speculative mind. Maybe read the full report.
  5. Then I would suggest Nipa get off his fat arse and do something about it. She's a woman and would probably suggest that you take note of what she actually said... "Nipa Nirannoot ... admitted, however, that the Thai embassy or consular office cannot directly help the Thai victims, unless they have sought help from the local police first.
  6. Yes, hang on, he is in the UK legally, he has permission to stay from the Home Office...for now, anyway.
  7. Not if it is soliciting, owning or managing a brothel, pimpng or advertising sexual services!
  8. Good for her, next time he will think twice about stopping dead in front of a car that he's just deliberately swerved in front of.
  9. Watch the video that shows him deliberately swerving into her lane, directly in front of her, and then slamming on his brakes with no traffic or obstruction in front of him!
  10. It a phone recording, as stated in the OP, not a constantly recording dash cam. That's probably the reason.
  11. Who's advocating that they do it without permission? You, judging by your post... "I'm always amazed they don't use the empty lots..." If I did misinterpret your comment, then you must be suggesting that the BMA buys up or leases this private land, something that its budget doesn't allow for? I see.
  12. Interesting that the development company that has been trespassing on the public access land for the last ten years has asked for 15 days grace so that it has time to re-fence its property to prevent trespassing!
  13. I think that got lost in the Thaiger's translation, the Bangkok Post reported that the municipality office would have to improve the road and install lighting, not the development company, which makes more sense.
  14. I'm always amazed by people who really think that the BMA can take over privately owned, taxed land, pave it, install bathrooms, tents and tables and turn that private property into businesses for someone else without permission? Could you explain how they could do that?
  15. Dropping a case, vertically on to one of its corners, would be a problem with the @rsehole baggage handlers, wouldn't it, not with the case, surely?
  16. Did you marry her!?
  17. "An answer to this obvious 'grey area' has been published by a reliable not to be named source". Yes, i read that in the Bangkok Post, hence my response to another poster. In which "not-to-be-named-source" (?) did you see it?
  18. So a statement of the president of the THAI firearms association is considered unvalidated Yes, unvalidated currently...prove me wrong. If there was a regulation that permitted foreign ownership it would as easily accessible as the actual current legislation that is easily found that states that foreigners cannot own firearms. As I said. I'm happy to apologise if you have official evidence that foreigners can own guns, so far, no one has produced anything empirical.
  19. Apparently not, according to a Bangkok Post article at the time.
  20. The Thaiger YouTube video was posted one year ago, it doesn't say that it related to one year old legislation. "Mr Thititorn, clearly states that foreigners can own and register guns". No, he did not "clearly state" that. He said that working foreigners with PR could but that's just what he said and, so far, no one has been able to quote any regulation that confirms his view as being factual. As you clearly do think that you're correct, perhaps you could link to that regulation (not someone's unvalidated opinion) and I will offer you my profuse apologies.
  21. Sugar does not dissolve in petrol, if it got to the tank it would sit at the bottom, not dissolving, it would not be "washing through" anything.
