  1. I think he meant the Thai Policemen's Retirement / tea Fund ?? (after a certain person in a certain Ferarri killed a certain policeman). Yes, I did recognise his sad innuendo.
  2. Unfortunately, Red B*ll are already donating to other causes. Isn't it fortunate, not unfortunate, that Red Bull are donating to other causes or do you begrudge Red Bull's charitable contributions?
  3. Why is it your concern, he raised the money and it's up to him where it goes, isn't it?
  4. Good idea for access to the providers but there won't be an unbiased opinion/personal experience from them (or any other broker) on something they're selling, which I think is what the OP is looking for.
  5. Yes. It's almost a certainty: "The Thalang Administrative Office (TAO) conducted a further investigation at the villa today, February 29. According to the TAO, the steps were constructed on the public beach without permission so they have ordered a real estate developer to remove the steps within three days." Bingo! Instinct. Wadda you say Lou? "Bingo"! "Instinct"? Not exactly, that TAO quote was published seven hours after I posted my question! So no "Bingo!" That's what I say.

  7. Maybe a more appropriate title would have been ' Extension done in three daily visits at Jomtien'
  8. I didn't say that I didn't have to leave home for the photo, I said that you were correct about that aspect. My extension does not necessitate three visits to Immigration as the OP's did.
  9. I'm not the one making claims about how long mine took and I wasn't asked that question, I'm just responding to the OP's very inaccurate claim in the OP title.
  10. You have to visit the agents at least twice, once to drop off passport, then accompany them to the immigration to have your picture taken, and then again to pick up your passport. Your argument is flawed Lou As is yours, my passport is collected from my home and delivered back to my home with an extension in it. I do have to have a photo taken though, you're right about that. But, using the flawed logic of the OP, that "only takes minutes"!
  11. The OP claimed that his retirement extension was completed "in minutes". It actually took three days - which I suppose is minutes...4,320 of them.
  12. Last month I checked Singapore was a developed country with a stable government and an economy. Their national bank DBS has been awarded the title of the safest Bank in Asia. You claimed that "Singaporean banks" (i.e. no exceptions) are safer but only referenced one Singaporean bank and that one, DBS, was not the Singaporean bank that was being recommended! Which Thai banks are you suggesting are unstable or unsafe?
  13. Your report seems to suggest that it actually took three days. "My online appointment was yesterday... ...told me to come back at 11am today... ...message to pick up passport tomorrow" .
  14. No input yet again. In your opinion...but I did add to it before your irrelevant response.
  15. Gawd...what aspect of a plastic case "looks like" a pill cutter and not a plastic case?
  16. Being a monk doesn't provide immunity from criminal charges.
  17. I'd like to hear what the 'assault' involved. Assault could range from pushing her away to beating her unconscious. And you think that in this case there's such a huge possibility that she was beaten unconscious that it needs to be clarified in the article?!
  18. Actually it states that she jumped off the bike. slightly injured herself and he stopped and walked back to her. That's what I said, if not in those exact words.
  19. "She used her EpiPen in an attempt to stop her body’s severe allergic response".
