  1. You were on the plane? He certainly wasn't reading the OP, wherever he was!
  2. Which groups of foreigners in Thailand are arrested the most? Give me the top 3 or 4 groups please. These comment are about fighting on planes, not the stats for arrests in Thailand, so do Britons typically fight on planes or is it just this one? Give me the top 3 or 4 nationalities please.
  3. Do they with a taser? Or what happens? "Singapore Airlines deploys sky marshals on its flights. Such members are armed with firearms loaded with special ammunition and dart-firing stun guns".
  4. Do they fight on planes? Do Britons typically fight on planes or is it just this one?
  5. Yes, does sound just like the typical image of an MMA fighter!
  6. Smarter than most tourists aren't they? I'd bet that, on average (and probably by definition!), they wouldn't be.
  7. If you read the article in full you'd know that he was arrested.
  8. Oh, yeah, no other nationalities are particularly known for that, eh?
  9. To keep the average IQ down? They'd have to be able to complete a job application form unassisted, wouldn't they?
  10. So that the original report is read! That's why a link is provided.
  11. Because that $7 isn't going to cover any hospital bill she incurs if having an oops. Has she had any hospital bills?
  12. It's a bunch of bull obviously. It's just an ad for her tik tok account. So what? That doesn't mean that it wouldn't garner interest...as this thread clearly shows!
  13. As I pointed out in my post earlier than yours!...
  14. Unless she made arrangements to not be on overstay! The article did not mention that she had ever been on overstay.
  15. Yes, £10,000 is the amount at which a declaration has to be made but carrying less than £10k doesn't mean that enquiries about any amount of cash cannot be made or that £9,999 of dodgy cash is ok. Someone carrying £5,000 (or less), for example, who couldn't justify it's legitimacy also risks having it confiscated until they can.
  16. Don't forget that he has to pass through an airport in the country of his departure where they also have cash carrying rules, it's not just Suvarnabhumi.
  17. No problem for him, then, as he would clearly be able to produce evidence of the source of his pension cash if he had taken it out of his bank. Carrying cash of any amount is not illegal unless it's source cannot be evidenced.
  18. Yes, you can carry any amount into Thailand. But if it is above a certain amount, it has to be declared. I have a friend who once entered Thailand with $100,000 cash that he didn't declare, and the Thais confiscated it all. Yes, I know that there are no limits but that declarations have to be made, that was what I posted! "Your friend's" situation would be the same in any other country, if he couldn't explain the legitimate source of the cash (and he obviously couldn't) it would be held until he could, that's the law, nothing about that situation is particular to Thailand.
  19. You tell me dr. Ok, I will...I don't think that you did read the OP but if you did you couldn't understand it!
