These travel policies do not have "fine print", they have easily read policy conditions and always have directions that the policy holder must read the policy. -

Unless the alcohol consumption is considered reasonable, I don't think that any travel insurance policies state that any alcohol consumption voids any related claims. -

As in this case, there is almost always a link from where the progress of the begging campaigns can be followed. -

"Good chance family is reading this!". As they are begging for $280,000 from complete strangers as a result of his foolishness, they'll just have to put up with the opinions of complete strangers.- 175 replies

Health insurance would normally cover medical costs as a result of those circumstances, travel insurance would not, they are two completely different types of policy.- 175 replies

Basic fact - when we take deep ice cores, study very old tree rings and examine sea and lake sediments we're able to understand thousands of years of climate change. IMHO - this is not an area of opinion, this is an area of fact. These are not even disputed by the conspiracy-addled (once you explain it to them with pictures). Even if there were thousands of years of temperature records, which is what this OP relates to, thousands of years is nothing compared to the billions of years that the earth has existed. -

Sedan falls into pit on Bangkok’s Srongprapa Road, rescue underway

Always because the claims are for injuries or situations that are not covered, those are reasons, not "excuses". Somewhere in the region of 90% of all insurance claims are paid out by insurers. -
Russians conned in 720,000 baht Phuket villa booking scam
Liverpool Lou replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
Ask yourself why there are different departments under the RTP. if not to concentrate their efforts and experience in specific areas and you might find the answer. Why should I ask myself anything when I'm still waiting for an answer to the question that you don't have an answer for..."why do you claim that the TP have less expertise and maybe no jurisdiction"? The onus is on you to justify that daft claim, not for me to try to find your answer. -

Huh ? You seem to think that they specialize in all areas. Immigration. crime suppression internet/cyber crime included? No, I do not, I did not suggest that at all. But you are avoiding justifying why you think the TP officers "have less expertise and maybe no jurisdiction"! -

Why shouldn't they be?? Is a motorway and a highway not the same thing, or is it the tollways that are being referred to? To most people, "motorway" suggests the expressway with restrictions on the type of vehicles that can use it. I do not think that a motorway and highway are synonymous. -

In this case. perhaps their respective fields of expertise and maybe jurisdiction even. What? You seem to think that Tourist Police officers, who are regular RTP officers but in a specialist division, have less expertise and maybe no jurisdiction? Why? Or maybe you think that Tourist Police officers are just volunteers with no real powers.
