Isn't he the one who took the risk and put up all the capital and debt that gave them jobs and eventually put him in his present financial position? What make you think that his employees only get B350 per day and get no decent salary increases? -

Lazada Credit Card refunds - time taken?
Liverpool Lou replied to Digitalbanana's topic in General Topics
"Refunds just about always credited to my Thai bank within 2-5 days...". Using a debit card, yes? Refunds on a debit card go directly to the bank account. Refunds on a credit card go to the card account, not to the bank account. -
Thailand Post tracks it until it arrives in Australia, then the subsequent tracking info comes (or more likely doesn't come) from Australian Post.

"...to the costumers". Maybe those making or supplying costumes should take a break at night then they wouldn't be bothered! Are there a lot of them around Jomtien?

What should his benefit cheques be "garnished" [sic] with, a nice bit of salad, a sprinkling of parsley or slice of lemon or just a splodge of ketchup? Having them garnisheed would be a better idea. -

Because it is of interest and why shouldn't it be mentioned in articles in English-speaking media aimed at foreigners? -

No, it, literally, is not. -
It's a manufacturing joke. But because the hotel is losing money, it's not zero, it would add up to a bigger and bigger loss with each booking. The hotel that is being charged 100% commission wouldn't be losing money on the booking, it just wouldn't be making any so it would remain at zero! Having said that, it will never happen as the 100% commission claim is, obviously, false.
-
They make it up in volume... Ah, that must be it, lots and lots of "0 money" soon adds up...to exactly "0 money".
-
You're saying that, at the top of the commission range, the owners of those properties do not make any money at all from the bookings? 100% is the entire booking cost. How can that be?
-
It wasn't a spelling mistake, they are two completely different words!

Pedantic, I know, but in the linked article it states that he stepped out from the central island, so any oncoming traffic would be from his left. You're right and not at all pedantic but, having said that, I didn't make any judgements about the pedestrian in this case, I was commenting only on the terrible "crossing the road advice" that would generally apply! -
