It's (was) only an ordinary BMW, many Thais are able to buy them so why not a police officer, especially the Deputy Chief of Police? Have you never heard of financing or trading up, how many people, generally, buy their cars outright? -

do you know that for a fact? If I did I wouldn't have posted "I very much doubt that...", I'd have posted "I know for a fact...". I take it (a presumption based on your comments, I don't know for a fact) that English cannot be your first language?

do you know that for a fact? I didn't say that I knew that he was doing something as patently ridiculous as raising a lion in the passenger seat of a car as a fact, did I? Having said that, I think it probably is a fact that he isn't doing that, in fact I'd go as far as to say that it is a fact but you can prove me wrong if you like and I'll take it back, just for you.

I very much doubt that the passenger seat of a convertible car is considered a restricted area I very much doubt that the lion was being raised in the passenger seat of the car.
