  1. Huh? 1/3 of ones life in bed, therefore 2/3 not in bed, so, no, the lowest proportion of time is spent in bed The highest probability (66.66%) of being struck would be when not in bed!
  2. Don't let it bother you, the other 71,800,000 Thai people were perfectly safe
  3. No, he did not. If you really think that he did, then post the quote of what he said here, it shouldn't be hard for you to find it. In reality, it will be hard for you to find his quote as you phrased it because he didn't say that.
  4. What you have linked to is not an official UK digital IDP as can be seen immediately from the incorrect spelling of "licence". It is therefore not a real UK IDP service, it is a commercial enterprise conning drivers into buying a fake (ok, non-official) IDP as can be seen from where the site is registered (Singapore!) and their disclaimer... "Legal Disclaimer: International Drivers Association is in no way affiliated with or a representative of American Automobile Association, Inc (AAA) and makes no claim to be a Government Agency". Whether the Thai police would accept the fake IDP document is a moot point but I wouldn't bank on it.
  5. How did you verify your new PP account so that it can be used? Registering is easy using the Covid number and I got the congratulatory welcome message. At the top of my new PP account page is a notice that the account has to be verified before it can be used and that requires verification from a Thai bank or other authority that has swiped my non-existent Thai national ID card.
  6. you are like one in 10000 guavas that tried, I sniff a liar Why do you claim that I am a liar? Are the other posters who have been able to register and use TrueMoney liars, also?
  7. Me too.. Unfortunate, because as it shows now, no indication of the credibility of a poster.. That ranking never did show the poster's "credibility", only the member's posts can do that!
  8. Well, they've fixed that, thankfully, but why don't they use a font size that can actually be read without having to go to +150 zoom every time?. And why is the font such a feint colour, not black, I wonder?
  9. How did you verify your new PayPal account that PP state on their first page is only available to Thai citizens? I have successfully registered a new PP account just now doing as you suggested but, before it can be used, my ID has to be verified and that requires confirmation using a bank (or other ID facility) that has already swiped my Thai ID card. You have a Thai ID card?
  10. It doesn't need to work for TrueMoney, foreign IDs are acceptable, I paid for my dinner again using TrueMoney last night and I'd registered my TrueMoney account with my passport.
  11. I did it in May in Khanom NST. You did what? Got an embassy letter? What information had to be in the letter? I decided just to make do with my accounts at BBL, KTB, Krungsri, UOB and Kasikorn.
  12. It's better to actually read before commenting. As you discovered. It's better to actually read before making superfluous comments on an edit that I made a few seconds after posting. As you should have discovered.
  13. I'm betting that you have less than nothing on which to base that "hunch".
  14. Perhaps you should read it again! Neither the OP, nor the linked Thaiger article mentions that.
  15. Ah...years ago, the. Lots of things were possible years ago that are no longer!
  16. Not a big of fan of linking my credit or debit cards to third parties. Not a requirement, it's an alternative to using your bank.
  17. How does one "slowly telegraph" a kick...use the Post Office or the messaging app?
