  1. Perhaps he doesn't meet that requirement and he has carefully decided not to admit that here?
  2. Yes, they can. IOs have the authority to decide who enters the country and who is denied entry, just like in every other country.
  3. Were you using the phone in an area that prohibited the use of phones?
  4. ok ... I've got about 4 accounts I want frozen .... wow ! just by calling 1441 ..... amazing Thailand .. Wow, amazing Steven100. Only if they've scammed you out of money, not on demand just because you want to have a go at someone.
  5. Thats good info.... Something I had no idea was possible. Calling 1441 can get an account frozen in 15 minutes, apparently, according to reports in the Bangkok Post. For the doubters, google "2000 scam-hit bank accounts frozen".
  6. There have been recent changes and victims of scammers and fraudsters can report the fraud to the Anti Online Scam Operation Centre (1441)/bank to which they were directed to send their money and the bank will freeze the account immediately with the hope of preventing its withdrawal/onward transmission. A couple of thousand have been frozen in the past few weeks already.
  7. You can try but you wont get anywhere. There needs to be a law, an enforced law, that says companies can not share or sell your data. What has that got to do with the OP?
  8. The Tourist Police officers are just as "real" as any other division of the RTP!
  9. I just suppose: as WU keep copy of the passport, police can check it and find if he has a bank account and maybe lock it till get money back. If his bank was not part of the fraud, there's no reason for the account to be frozen. Bank accounts aren't subject to freezing just because the account holder allegedly committed an offence.
  10. I just suppose: as WU keep copy of the passport, police can check it and find if he has a bank account and maybe lock it till get money back. They'd have to have evidence that your defrauded money went into any account before it could be frozen and, as it was given out as cash, they won't have that evidence.
  11. excuse me ..... who the heck do you think you are commenting on other replies. He's a member of a forum that you posted on and he is entitled to respond to any posts...including yours. Who the heck do you think you are?
  12. Lock which bank account? You didn't send your money to a bank account you sent it to WU.
  13. No, they have not done that but it is explained in the full article. What genius didn't read it?
  14. According to a number of replies, this type of account is accepted, including at Chiang Mai where Ill extend, so to answer your 2nd question "both" so win win........ Notice the "if" in my post.
  15. 1.5% interest as opposed to 0.9% with my current passbook account, one reason. Not a very rational reason if it bars you from getting an extension. Which do you need more, an extension or 0.6% extra interest?
  16. Ezekial wasn't an idiot. What makes you so sure of that? Are you suggesting that I am?
  17. And you seriously think that none of that can be applied to Biden supporters and even come up with your reply above, that I am sure you thought was clever?!
  18. I'm sure you wouldn't make such a statement unless you had some real evidence to support your claim. So please share with us the information you have about Beau, Naomi, and Ashley. Or maybe it's time for a reminder from the landing page of World News: "Any alleged factual claims must be supported by a valid link to an approved credible source." I'm going to go out on a limb here to say you've got nothing. I didn't "make a statement", I asked you as question...see the question mark?
  19. Well, your previousl comment about Biden's children shows that now matter how many rational supporters of Trump there may be, your insinuation vis a vis the Biden's children excludes you from being numbered among them. As does yours vis-à-vis rationality.
  20. You expect reason from trumpsters? if they were reasonable they would not be trumpsters. And, just as rationally...you expect reason from Bidensters? if they were reasonable they would not be Bidensters.
  21. You really don't get it? JonnyF claimed that children are a reflection of their parents. Biden had 4 children. Only one of them is named Hunter. You don't get it. You really think the rest of the dodgy family are pure as and weren't in on receiving the dirty bunce indirectly?!
  22. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: neither shall the father accept dodgy, laundered money from his equally dodgy son, nor shall he lie about it.
  23. Are you aware the Biden has 4 children? What has the number of children he has got to do with it?
  24. I'm glad that you appreciate that there really should be a modicum of accuracy in posted comments. "...where would we be without you.." You'd be reading a load of old b0llocks most of the time!
