Ha Ha Ha Considering Thailand is something like 90% "out in the sticks" that makes Thai post only reliable in 10% of Thailand Ha ha ha. That would make sense if it was accurate in the context of where most people are located, particularly most foreigners.

Try reading the thread about what actually happened, the guards, apparently, did not beat anyone, fellow foreigners did that, the guards were trying to break it up and protect him.

One can easily speculate that it was a factor. Have you seen some of those kiddie rails? One can but why would one when there's no need for speculation as there's a photo of the condo in the OP? Judging from rail heights shown with many people looking over them, there's no indication that the height of the rail was a factor. The height of "some of those other rails" is irrelevant to this OP.

Although it has already been posted here, so many posters keep going on about padded bills, bell ringing, violent security and, bizarrely, draft-avoiding Russians, et al, it turns out that he wasn't attacked by security, he was attacked by foreign men, the guards were trying to break it up. Are you sure you would want to argue about that in Thai court? Whether I'd want to argue about it in court is beside the point, the fact is that her personal debts, incurred solely by her, would not become his liability if they were not in any way for joint or family purposes.
