  1. Why don't you tell the less well-informed of us "what Thailand is all about now days [sic] when it comes to foreigners"?
  2. "Why do they call it "Jasmin" anyway?" They don't, it's called Jasmine rice, a reference to its Jasmine-like colour, not it's aroma.
  3. I was making the comparison , as we all should when discussing any subjective assessment made by someone else. I should have added Liverpool of course, silly me. "...silly me" "Silly you", indeed, the OP was not making a comparison so there was no necessity for him to do so, nor for anyone else to attempt to derail his OP on to other countries' cultures. By the way, Liverpool is not a country.
  4. Does it taste better cold? The idea behind that well known expression is that a person should wait until they cool down before executing their revenge. This way the person waiting to extract revenge should be able to make and execute a better plan for revenge than they might while they are still hot and angry. I know what the well-known expression means, hence my post. "Revenge is a bitter meal" is not the well-known expression.
  5. Well on forum posts gma means give me attention. Well, not on mine, it doesn't, I post in English, not in abbreviated "forum-speak", which I believe is against the rules, isn't it?
  6. Perhaps, perhaps not, perhaps it's more like I described, USPS is notoriously awful.
  7. Last November Krungsri picked up on a fraudulent overseas charge to my account and automatically blocked the payment themselves and froze my account until I contacted them to unblock it. There's a big difference between banking ten years ago and today.
  8. Huh? Don't think so. I think you'll find that "revenge is a meal best served cold".
  9. I use normal Thailand Post (or Royal Mail the other way) to actual addresses because of the reliability I've experienced every time.
  10. Perhaps USPS had something to do with the issue? I get normal post from the UK to Bangkok with no issues, takes about 5 days normally.
  11. "Give me attention" you get enough on here already. No such thing! Gordon Murray Automotive.
  12. What is "so hard" about entering Thailand legitimately for the rest of us?
  13. You've asked toooo many questions!!!!! You need to do a Google search. No, I don't, my question was rhetorical.
  14. No, you just cherry picked. What do you mean "No"? What I said was 100% accurate. Report my comment, then, if that's what you want to think.
  15. That's what most posters seem to think...unfortunately, but, you cannot be an expert of any degree on the subject of driving LHD cars in Thailand, though, if you've never driven a LHD car in a RHD country,,,you included!
  16. If you are going to quote someone, don't edit the quote to suit your reply. The only rule against editing quotes is that the context must not be changed. I did not change the context of your comment re my question.
  17. No Hahahahahahaaa...! Not much of an authority on the subject, then.
  18. The risks are already high enough driving in Thailand, why would you add to them? Because it is not particularly "risky".
  19. Already been explained. ...not very successfully!
