  1. That's not true. I've bought many items on Ali and when I receive them I don't go back on their site until I want to order something else.
  2. It's just the shower that he wants to fix, not his HEARING!
  3. Out of the almost 40-product WD40 range, yes!
  4. It's not me, but why are you at all concerned about the inconsequential emoji-ed opinions of others?
  5. Maybe he should ask the holder of the 1st prize-winning number for a sub from the B114m he or she has just won.
  6. But there is no truth in your statement, big difference. That's just your opinion, there's as much truth in my claim as there is in yours...no difference in the self-aggrandisement.
  7. No, that's wrong, the quickest way to get rid of them is to not engage with them...unless you're a junkie needing a hit.
  8. But that would clash with their version of the story, and make them look as foolish as they are. Huh? What would clash with whose version of what story making who "look as foolish" as who is?
  9. 11 years of martial arts, 6 years as a hooker in rugby union, part time bouncer in Amsterdam's red light. Won over 100 fights, 3 losses. What about you? Me? I can produce the same credentials as you can. 15 years of martial arts, 10 years as a hooker in rugby union, full time bouncer. Won over 100 fights, no losses.
  10. What are you suggesting by " .... hmmm ..."? Didn't you read the link?
  11. SWIFT transferring funds from overseas into any Thai bank does not require an "easing of the process". Instruct the overseas bank and it is done, it is of no consequence whether the bank is SCB, UOBT, Krungsri, KTB, TTB, BBL, Kasikorn or any other, there are no restrictions on incoming funds.
  12. Reading the OP link would help you.
  13. You do actually have three days to get the first shot I don't dispute that, read what my comment actually stated...with a touch latent humour. I did not write that "you have to get a shot immediately".
  14. If a rat bites you, you have to get shot immediately.
  15. Voluntarily giving money or assets to a Thai (or any other national) man, woman, wife, girlfriend or boyfriend is not "getting scammed" as in the intended definition in this thread. The subject of this thread is a criminal offence, your inaccurate depiction of gifting as "scamming" is not an offence of any type.
  16. The money may have come from a us bank but the scam came from here. The money did come from US banks and you completely missed my point. The poster I addressed was using the scam to denigrate the security of Thai banks ("This is one of the reason I never keep too much money sitting in a thai bank"...his words), when the banking lack of security (in his mind) in the cases of the American women was a US "banking issue", not a Thai bank's problem.
  17. This scam was perpetrated on US citizens in the US with the money coming from US banks initially.
  18. Exactly. Another useless report. Exactly, another AN member who cannot read the OP. The law applies to Thais also, as the OP stated.
  19. "Just throw it in a bin and tell the tourist it's not allowed". If you bothered to read the OP properly you'd know that that is what usually happens.
  20. As the OP, very clearly, stated, the law applies to Thais also and, obviously, at all borders.
  21. "The director-general of the Department of Agriculture, Rapeephat Chantarasriwong, emphasized that both Thai and international tourists are subject to this law". The law relates to the illegal importation of fruit, not the location, it applies at all borders.
