UK pension delay?
Ha Ha Ha Considering Thailand is something like 90% "out in the sticks" that makes Thai post only reliable in 10% of Thailand Ha ha ha. That would make sense if it was accurate in the context of where most people are located, particularly most foreigners.

Why are you trying to give directions to another member about how he presents his own OP?
-
Divorse or not.
Are you sure you would want to argue about that in Thai court? Whether I'd want to argue about it in court is beside the point, the fact is that her personal debts, incurred solely by her, would not become his liability if they were not in any way for joint or family purposes.

Education visa
The school is genuine he said Many legitimate language schools have options, attend classes or don't attend classes, with correspondingly different fees and procedures but the question of whether he is abusing the system is irrelevant to members here and to his question in the OP.

UK pension delay?
"Thailand Post strikes again". Perhaps Royal Mail struck again, TP is generally very reliable unless you chose to live out in the sticks.

Divorse or not.
I agree about the divorce part but personal debts incurred solely by her would not become his liability if they were not in any way for joint or family purposes.

Call from bank re 'scan passport 50,000 baht limit' on transactions
Obviously, yes, it applies to all foreigners, not just "farangs", as you put it. There are no countries that do not require confirmed passport ID when a foreigner is opening a bank account.

Taking a Thai woman and child to Australia on a defacto visa

-
Is it OK to overstay by 2 days?
Having a two day overstay and sorting it when leaving Suvarnabhumi will never be an issue regardless of how bad a day any IO may be having.
-
Is it OK to overstay by 2 days?
Bit late for that in the OP's case!
-
Is it OK to overstay by 2 days?
Bit late for that warning as he appears to be a serial overstayer going back several years with spurious "medical" excuses (Immigration has procedures to cover genuine medical reasons that do not result in overstays).

"...I used my DL to get the residence certificate..." From which Immigration office?

Thai Licence/International Driving Permit Insurance.
The rule has been IDP is valid for 3 months constant single use . Whether the police check , or know , is another point. A UK IDP is still £5.50 , but now has a 3 year life. What? What has that got to do with some poster's claim that the foreign driving licence rules in Thailand have been constantly changing?
