Thawing UK Frozen Pensions
Liverpool Lou replied to hotandsticky's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
"let it be paid into a flip bank acc, draw it from where ever". My point was how does a pensioner living in Thailand get a Philippine bank account? "a lot of guys here still just draw from there UK account". Those having their pensions paid into a UK bank account don't need to be concerned as they will be getting the increases. -
Speak for yourself.

How does 4WD "help with aquaplaning", are FWD cars not susceptible to aquaplaning? Once enough water gets under the tyre to cause aquaplaning, i.e. the tyre is no longer in contact with the road surface, 4WD (or FWD) is irrelevant, those wheels are then "floating", driven or not.

"I've never heard of a non-immigrant visa being issued on the spot, there's always an under consideration period". When I used to do my own retirement extensions based on income at CW they were always issued that day, there was never an "under consideration" period. -
Actually having the ability to schedule an order and add last minute items was a great feature for many of us who used Tesco Lotus home delivery. Yes, I didn't suggest that it wasn't a useful feature.

He could use Wise Yeah, in those dodgy, red flag circumstances that wouldn't raise anymore red flags with the DWP, would it?! -

You think that they would be opening Philippine bank accounts for all those people also? Or do you think that the DWP will just ignore a change of circumstances advice where the pensioner, now "in the Philippines" who used to live in Thailand where he receives no annual increases, continues to have his (now increasable) pension remitted to a bank in Thailand? -

That would be covering up where he was living also! DWP may suspect something's not quite right when, as a Philippine resident he has his pension paid into Thai bank, not a Philippine bank. -
Do you have the same complaint with "MacDonald's", "Chester's" or "Top's", for example, or do you just want to have a go at Lotus's, one of many businesses named that (possessive) way? Maybe your first language isn't English?

You must be doing something wrong, or trying to register for something extra, with the change I was never asked for any ID of any description and my orders are accepted and delivered without query.
-
They don't. As a long time user I did whatever they asked me to do when the site changed, I certainly wasn't asked for a Thai ID number (and I wouldn't have access to one either) and I still am able to make regular online orders without any issues.

Ask her why she wants it, if she doesn't know, she probably doesn't need it.

And how will you know if they honour that contract ? Why wouldn't they?

You don't have to reply, it's not compulsory, you can always scroll on. You don't have to reply, either, it's not compulsory, you can always scroll on.

There's a difference between a pubic record being accessed once data has been made available to the public and the hospital handing the original death certificate to a complete stranger, not to those authorised to receive it.
-
Obviously...that's where medics and police have to be in the case of a reported death.

"...that allow u to take $$ from Thai ATMS". I don't know what a "Thai USA type bank" [sic] is but no ATMs in Thailand dispense USD.

Microsleep does not absolve drivers of blame or accountability in accidents such as this, why would you clam that it does?
