Look at the OP's username. How does that explain the title of the thread? -
Bizarre requirement from bank.

Don't go to the original branch to ask for the account to be transferred and risk issues there, go to the branch that has been assisting you and open a new account then take your funds out of the old account. -
As I clearly explained in my post these are not beaten-up, dirty, scrawled-on notes. They are crisp, recent series, almost pristine notes with tiny pen marks on them. I have experienced problems exchanging them at several places, including my own bank "They just want clean, unmarked notes" is what I wrote and that has been confirmed by your own experience. You confirmed that the notes you have been unable to exchange have been written on (pen marks).

You're welcome to go elsewhere (even though, ironically, you're coming here) but, you're right, no one will care if you don't, not even Thais. -

Cheapskates have not been excluded, they're still welcome here also. -
That is what aquaplaning is, loss of contact with the road surface due to the wheels riding on a layer of water. It does not matter how many wheels are driven if they're not in contact with the road, and an aquaplaning wheel doesn't have that contact. I am aware that 4WD or AWD can be advantageous before the wheel loses contact with the road. I'm also aware that is usually momentary and not like a long boat cruise. I do know the advantage of 4WD having experience of an Audi S2, S6, Evo 4, STI, Discovery, Range Rover, Sport Rider and Fortuner.

Aquaplaning wheels are not in contact with the road and at that stage, whether the wheels are driven or not, it does not make any difference. I do know that 4WD can be an advantage in wet conditions when the wheels are still in contact with the road, i.e before the wheels start floating.

Cabinet approves ฿10.9 billion for new zoo in Pathum Thani
Liverpool Lou replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
No, that's just nonsense. Where did you get that information from? That was rhetorical. Obviously, you didn't get that information anywhere. Dusit Zoo was not reported to have been mismanaged and did not close for that reason. It closed as part of the long-planned move to relocate to a much larger area, gifted by the King.
