300,000 bail??? walk away never to be heard of again 200,000 for the police and 100,000 for the taxi guy. I know a falang who killed a Thai guy, who was drunk and walked into the middle of the road from behind a bus. 1,000,000 bail he had to put up for what was a total accident, every witness said the same. Has he walked away "never to be heard of again"? No, didn't think so. Retained bail money doesn't go to the victim or to the police, it goes to the courts. Bail requirements for foreigners in serious cases are typically more than for locals as the chances of foreigners leaving the country and not appearing in court are, very obviously, much higher. If your pal was found not to be at fault he would have had his bail money returned to him by the court after the case, so what's the problem? It would have been refunded even if he was found guilty as long as he appeared in court for the case.

How long ago is that?I assume you owned the vehicle? What would happen if you rent ? Will travel insurance cover a tourist? Many travel insurance companies do not cover you on a motorbike. Five or six years ago with vehicles I owned. I don't know what a rental insurer's attitude would be. Re travel insurance, who else but tourists would have travel insurance? I don't understand that question in this context.

Sorry to hear you have only been with 2 Thai women . Strange that they both had silicone implants . You sure they were genuine ladies ? Majority of Thai ladies have only small breasts and you are really taking a chance with large breasted ladies . Alarm bells when I am approached by top heavy girls , even when I have had a few to many beers . Sorry to see that you can't read or, at least, comprehend what I actually wrote. I said I'd had relationships with two enhanced Thai girls, not that I'd "only been with two Thai women" (and not that it would be any of your business, even if it was the case). One of them was the mother of two of my daughters and I paid for her improvement, the other was the mother of a son she had given birth to. As far as I'm aware katoeys can't do that trick. Neither of those two girls were particularly "large-breasted" or "top heavy", neither did both of them have silicone implants. Perhaps your being approached by all those large-breasted, top heavies is just an indication of the signals that you give out to them that they are fine-tuned to recognise!

Tourism ministry dual pricing proposal for hotel rates

Nothing has been effed up, it's a proposal that is being suggested to hotel operators, it is nowhere near being a policy yet. -

British Consulate notary service
Liverpool Lou replied to Ombra's topic in Q&A, Ask the Consular Team
Why the letter if not to confirm the passport is genuine when not needed when you get new passport from the UK instead of Trendy House? Letter is not tied to transfer, if it was it would be needed for both. Does the letter state that it confirms that the passport is real, as you claim? If it doesn't why are you making that assertion? New passports collected at HMPO, The Trendy are issued in, and come from, the UK. -

which you do not need if the passport is issued in UK Ah, right, so the letter is not a requirement to confirm that the passport is real, as you claimed, it is just a letter requesting IB's cooperation with transferring the visa/extension to the new document. Passports issued through HMPO, The Trendy, are issued in the UK ("Issued by: HMPO"). There is nothing on the passport to suggest to Immigration, or anyone else, that the passport was not issued in the UK. -

when getting a new passport in Thailand you have needed a letter from the Embassy to state it's real for immigration, getting one back in the UK was not needed. What? Do you mean the letter that is issued requesting Immigration to transfer visas/extensions? I got a new passport three years ago from HMPO at The Trendy and was not given a letter "stating that it was real". I was given a letter to facilitate the extension transfer. -
The red top rag probably isn't following her around but it probably does pay for salacious photos of the bint and her ilk. There are more worthy stories, and they are easily found, but these are published because people like us read them, comment on them (directly promoting them) but, oddly, some then complain about them being there in the first place because they consider them unworthy!
