  1. Superrich could, they have phones and English-speakers.
  2. No, he is correct but should have not used the word herd. Replace that word with territory and all is good. No, tigers do not fight for control of females and kill their cubs just to mate, they wander their territory, find a female, bang it and bu_gger off.
  3. Er, no, tigers do not live in herds, fighting for control of their (captive) females and killing the cubs. You're getting confused with lions. Sorry.
  4. "I specifically asked not to bother to chime in, we know your views and feelings, I do not want to hear more of them". It's a public forum, you don't make the rules about what is posted. Request the thread to be closed if you don't like what you started.
  5. I would like just one link where it shows they are being drugged . From the same article... "Drugging used to happen a lot and then it got exposed. Whether places are still drugging them and hiding it, I don't know [either way]"
  6. "...and are happy being around humans". Only because they are so doped-up they have no idea what is going on!
  7. I am not mistaken, I remember it clearly from the one time I went. You're claiming that you got a blow for B400 in SOL in '97?
  8. I am not recommending they be used, but many used car/bike dealers offer their own financing. You mean the dealer/tent owner lets customers drive away on a deposit and the promise of monthly repayments to him, not to a finance company? If you say so. I can't imagine why any dealer would risk his own capital that way when they can easily get finance companies to pay them for using their money?
  9. You're mistaken. There was never any differentiation, I know, I've been there a time or two.
  10. SOL never charged as little as B400 in the 90s and the charge for the use of the small room was always the same as in the bar until the police stopped the use of that room and everything then had to be done in the bar or in the corner near the bog and hand basin in the back.
  11. The Star Of Light comes to mind. One beer was enough. The "Star" didn't stink, it was a reasonably well-kept place considering it's activities.
  12. The owners of that private land (Patpong 1 and 2) won't care if every business there fails, it'll sell in a blink of the eye, anytime.
  13. Yes, you can but if you buy using finance you will always need a work permit. It's the banks/finance companies that make that stipulation, dealers or used car tents do not provide the finance themselves.
  14. No, effecting proper repairs on a car that needs repair does not affect warranty but why not get them changed under warranty if they're defective?
  15. As I said you must have seen the plan so you can tell us how they were specifically selected. Every chance that some minister at the time had some personal connection with one of the countries. "...you must have seen the plan so you can tell us how they were specifically selected". You have no reason to assume that I saw the plan 70 years ago and, no, I may, or may not, have the governments explanation for their choices but I do not need to know that, nor explain it to you. It is, however, plainly ridiculous for you to claim that the countries were "selected at random", which is what you posted . "...Every chance that some minister at the time had some personal connection with one of the countries". I'm sure you have something empirical to back up that accusation of government ministers' corruption in the selection of those countries, yes? No?...didn't think you had.
  16. "...someone such as yourself who only ever attacks posters..." No, I do not "only attack posters" so I'd like to see an example of anything that you think is a personal attack (not my opinion or my pointing out of clearly wrong information or assertions) on other members. Over to you. I make observations and post accordingly as this is a forum and the choice of how to post is mine, not yours. It's odd how so many posters seem to think that a member reacting against another's comment is "an attack" and not simply an accurate observation or different opinion. "...there is no proof... blah blah blah... as if you are in court !!!!" Yet other posters, not me, are permitted (by you!) to post clearly inaccurate or just plain wrong assertions as though they are in court?
  17. ...or none of that unfounded speculation and accusation. I wouldn’t be so quick to attack spidermike007..... That was not an attack, it was an accurate observation.
  18. Why? Because of the ‘assets’ he was carrying. The linked article implies plural - Wristwatches, necklaces and cash. There is no such implication. From the OP... "...the victim was wearing a gold necklace and bracelet, a watch and carrying a quantity of cash".
  19. "...complete absence of any checking by the authorities". What is there to check when there are no laws in Thailand prohibiting the use of any strength of tint?
  20. Perfectly well enough to hit a child. ,,,in an accident that he may not have been responsible for or one that he maybe could not have avoided.
  21. ...or none of that unfounded speculation and accusation.
