  1. Helmets don't protect against broken necks which frequently occur in these types of incidents.
  2. He'd have to purchase the streets from the owners first!
  3. She wasn't in the shop, obviously, she was in the car park.
  4. Me too, near to the Derby King restaurant, but it was a Honda "chopper", not a Harley.
  5. Good to read the reality that the cable company are stepping in with substantial funeral expenses and further compensation for the family.
  6. Those banks that you referred to, operating in Thailand, with "non-Thai" names are registered here as Thai banks, i.e. Citibank is Citibank Thailand, UOB is United Overseas Bank Thailand. They are subject to the same Bank of Thailand regulations as local Thai banks.
  7. Another pearl of wisdom from the scouse brain trust. When you meet 3 or 4 friends does your contribution to the light hearted banter consist entirely of selectively attacking small elements of what everyone says without adding anything interesting, informative or humourous? "Another pearl of wisdom from the scouse brain trust." Point out anything in those comments of mine that were, wrong, inaccurate, speculative or offensive. I'm not a Scouse, you'll be disappointed to know "...without adding anything interesting, informative or humourous?" Another poster who thinks that he is in a position to dictate the content of my posts. Unbelievable. "...welcome to the ignore list". What a devastatingly painful admonishment. You know that your "ignore list" has no effect, whatsoever, of those you ignore?
  8. They will always be from a mobile number or what appears to be an overseas number, if you don't recognise the mobile number or you're not expecting an international call, just reject it. If it's anything important, from someone you should have answered, they'll message you.
  9. Then they are rubes. As described in the first part of post you deleted. The part of your comment that I did not quote was irrelevant to the part that I did quote, I did not delete anything.
  10. You discuss it with that family and get their agreement, then you specify the arrangement in your wills, appointing them as guardians.
  11. Their report could be legitimate. Surprised that you haven't caught on to that one yet instead of promulgating a daft racial slur..
  12. Why shouldn't there be any? With no justification, whatsoever, you're saying that they are liars?
  13. Read the OP, they weren't "roaming", they were walking back to their hotel after a night out.
  14. They weren't "wandering around", they were walking along 2nd Road back to their hotel after a night out. Reading the OP properly is always a good idea.
  15. Insurance companies do not restrict the hours during which a policy such as this would be valid.
  16. Would that be you.....????.................???? No, not this time. I didn't offer an answer even though I am an expert on some things, not an "Thaivisa expert" (in inverted commas)!
  17. No, we're seeing temporary supply issues.
  18. Do they really? Maybe I've been in Thailand too long. Maybe you have, just trying to make a suggestion that would have answered your question without your having to rely on the Thaivisa 'experts'!
  19. Never claimed anything of the sort. And that emoji does you no credit. Which emoji? I'm not looking for "credit", especially from Thaivisa members such as your good self, there are no scores! This is a forum where opinions are allowed to be expressed and emojis are provided to be used. By the way, insisting that the SOL did B400 blows in '97 doesn't do your credibility any favours.
