  1. I doubt it would actually italicize your own name while you were replying; unless you checked with somebody else while you were in the process? Don't need two people, just scroll down to the "browsing" section while typing the reply like I'm doing now, my name is there.
  2. Odd how so many posters apparently time their Wise transfers to the exact second and keep such precise records of the time taken! This post took me 29 seconds to type, the previous one....ah, 'uck it
  3. "...it transferred in about 4 secs". I made a similar transfer and it was in my bank account before I even hit the submit button.
  4. It's a public forum, someone, it's irrelevant who, has to have the last say so I'll leave that to you.
  5. OK. Got it. Thanks for taking the time to tell me. Unfortunately, that's not the case, I'm answering right now and my name in the browsing list is not italicised.
  6. Really? How would you know?
  7. There used to be 10, but then one of them accidentally fell. There should be nine, then, where's the other four?!
  8. He's just purloined Jing-something's ava-something.
  9. Don't think so, I'm replying and my name's not italicised. Perhaps the thread's OP's name gets the inverted commas/italics?
  10. Who said that they should?
  11. Why would that be "more correct"? It wasn't reported in the OP, or the link, that the scaffolding collapsed.
  12. Yes, Kunming, why the "Hmm"?
  13. It didn't! Paypal is just using the services of the private company National Digital Co., Ltd for account verification. As required by the government according to all reports and explanations provide by PPT reps. Where are you getting your information that the information provided by PPT is wrong?
  14. For those interested, the Bangkok Post's picture of the train gives a good idea of the size.
  15. "...a luxury diplomatic car was found". INN did not report that, they reported that the car "looked like" a diplomatic car. There was no diplomatic car involved.
  16. Because the Law would never require or force a Financial company to use a private company in this case National Digital Co., Ltd for account verification I mean what if that company were to close down? "Because the Law would never require or force a Financial company to use a private company in this case National Digital Co., Ltd for account verification..." Really? How come it did, then?
  17. "it also gives no indication of why a business account opened by a foreigner can't be used". It does. The reason is that government regulations require the business account registrant to have a Thai national ID card.
  18. Then the next step requires NDID authorisation that requires a Thai national ID number.
  19. How do you know that is the case?
  20. How do you know that they could do that?
  21. Your "pink" ID was accepted on the form but unfortunately your registration wasn't so it's sort of irrelevant to the application.
  22. Easy if you try. 02 787 3409
  23. But it does, because PayPal chose not to allow other proof of ID recognition. It does not. Thai ID was the only ID considered as acceptable by the government regulations, PPT had no alternative.
