  1. I first came to Chiang Mai in '93 to play in the international cricket 6's. (a lot younger then.) Could not see more than 100 metres in front of you. Didn't see the sun for a week. Nothing has changed, it is just reported more intensely. Been living East Pattaya last 10 years & now smelling fires this time of year.????????
  2. Should have waited and shovelled your order into a doggie bag before leaving without paying. Fights in restaurants are amazing.????????
  3. Interesting question. Outside of touristy areas, a restaurant can simply mean a house kitchen with tables and chairs outside. My missus tried this in our central province village. Great 3 months then the rice cutting or sowing ceased for 3+ months....very few customers. It seems to be seasonal. Yes, location, taste and price are givens. It's a tuff road and bills do not wait.????????
  4. Am I supposed to bring loose, scantily clad women or are you supplying?????????
  5. It is only correct if you go to the wrong bars. Bargirls also take some time off.????????
  6. Called him today......got voicemail.????????
  7. Wouldn't have it any other way for the locals on 3rd Road. Shame the soi dogs don't get a piece of the action.????????
  8. I doubt if Pattaya family tourists know where 3rd Road is. Locals letting off steam. Nothing to see here.????????
  9. A simple mobile phone would have been fine. Pretty sure what we have now is destroying my 10 and 6 year old step grandchildren.????????
  10. Yup. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story. 55 mill number supplied by TAT.????????
  11. It differs from bank to bank and customer services staff member. I just opened new bank with internet and app. Central province with only passport & Thai drivers licence required. Two great girls set it all up. Bit of a lucky dip. Yes. Jomtien IO has outgrown it's purpose.????????
  12. I have been going there for 10 years for 90 day reports. Prior to C19 it was a 5 minute job. Today Monday, 1 & 3/4 hours (took a book to read.) Yes, many customers don't or can't read signs so they interrupt the staff outside and some customers and staff get angry. Something has gone awry at Jomtien and I feel for the majority of the staff. I don't understand why it all seemed to change during C-19. It can be a frustrating experience for newbies. A new larger office is desperately needed.????????
  13. The joy of undertaking. Just do not do it.????????
  14. Depends on when they choose to repay the loan. Optional.????????
  15. Yes, yes, I agree. I was wondering if there is anyone who personally recollected any subs in Adelaide harbours back then. Cheers for your comment.????????
  16. It is called air-conditioning.????????
  17. Yup. Ladyboys only braless in malls. Morning markets, maybe. Ladies seem to wear pj's but with bras and visible undie lines. ????????
  18. Thank you. Never sure where to post.????????
  19. Hearing that Aus is into submarines again now. I vaguely recall my father taking me to see the Oxley subs 55+ years ago, Adelaide. Think they were scrapped quickly. Any comments?????????
  20. That is not a rock. It is a boulder. Sounds like she is lonely.????????
  21. What? Your ex MIL got you out of a drainage ditch?????????
  22. The survey analysed thousands of tweets. Enuff said. Rubbish.????????
  23. Yes. There is a turn on highway 340 Sri Racha. It is a blind turn. And then there a set of confusing traffic lights. Always check rear view mirror.????????
